During the winter, having someone (and kids) that skis or snowboards (or would be willing to learn) would be a definite plus, since it is something my kids and I will always share (it runs in the family). Even on my weekends without the kids I love to spend time up in the mountains enjoying the outdoors and hopefully making new friends.
Before having kids, I used to travel quite a bit and recently renewed my long expired passport, now that the kids can carry their own backpacks. We have many invitations to visit family and friends around the country - plus some in Norway, Sweden, Italy, and Australia. Given the right company, I've also got the time also for some romantic weekends (no kids) - mountains and beaches are my favorite places to visit.
I signed up for this site on a whim, I plan on exploring my opportunities to meet new people and see what develops (no pressure to find "The One", but I am open to it!).

Random thoughts:
True or False?: My cousin told me that I shouldn't post pictures of me smiling, that women were more drawn to the brooding ones...hmmmm...that could be a problem, since I'm usually smiling during "picture opp" moments. Should I take a camera (and friend) along with me the next time I go to the DMV? That probably wouldn't work, I wouldn't be grinning, but wouldn't be brooding either. OK, how about this: if we were to meet and you were NOTHING like your profile, then I'll hand you my camera phone to take my picture? OK, that made me smile too...
Observation for the day: I just went through the first 18 pages (of 200) of my "Mutual Match" search before I even got to 99%...am I that perfect (or are women not very picky) that I have to go through 180 profiles before even getting to the ones that work out just one day less per week than I do? If you look up "Mr. Right" in the dictionary, is my picture there? Go check yours, if I'm there...then send me a message so I can stop looking at these other women! Seriously...walk away from the computer...go check...I'll be here when you get back.
OK, 32 pages of Mutual Matches (got to 98% matches)...I give up for tonight...I kept thinking if I just looked for one more page I'd find YOU, but now I'm starting to think this is like the ending of Michael Buble's "Haven't Met You Yet" video (YouTube it), that you and I will just pass each other, not realizing it :(

The neighbor said he actually saw the biggest bear ever in his yard so I've been calling "hellooo bear" when I walk up the trail to my place at night just to make sure we walk our own paths. I'm rather new to vegan but I am loving the change and new lifestyle and how my body and mind feels. I read the "China Study" by T Campbell and I am convinced it is the diet for humans. I have a large garden which helps and this year I'm looking forward to experimenting with fall and winter production. Last year I got spinach to sprout in January but then again that's spinach for you
I am looking for someone who is open to unconditional love, great communication and intimacy. Someone who wants to have fun, travel and do interesting things especially outdoors. I have a dream that one of these summers I want to setup a camp somewhere beautiful and live outdoors until it gets cold. So would be cool if my mate was into that. I am open and kind. I want to have a deep and meaningful relationship with great communication and understanding...did I already say that?...well it's worth mentioning again. I want to have fun in the bedroom and send sexy texts during the day. I stay very fit w/o going to extremes. I do a lot of camping, and trail running. I'm doing a 3 day back pack trip in Aspen this summer...would be cool if my mate was into that sort of thing. Nature is important to me. I'm learning to meditate and realizing what a powerful tool it is for seeing how we confuse our own stories with reality. My dream is to one day help build a community that is self sufficient in producing our own food and necessities locally. But while working on that one I am also a computer guy working at a Broomfield headquarters for Staples making a very nice living. I have 3 (mostly) charming young kids who of course I adore and live with me part of the time and I am committed to raising right with a carrot in one hand and a pencil in the other.

Could it have been running (or riding) the trails in the Front Range, or hiking a 14er in the Sawatch range? Maybe it was at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, relaxing at one of the summer concerts, or while attending a show at DPAC? Or did we smile at each other during a workout at the gym, ride the chair lift getting ready for a great run, or pass each other on the way to our seats at Coors Field? Perhaps we spotted each other while enjoying an evening out at one of Denver's restaurants, or lounging on one of the patio bars?
As you can probably tell, I enjoy staying fairly active most of the time, but find time for relaxing as well. I have been fortunate enough to develop friendships from a variety of activities and interests, but am still looking for a partner to share many of life's adventure's with. I am a single parent (I have her part time) of a beautiful 14 year old daughter who I adore: she is a great companion and definitely keeps me in line most of the time. I admire honesty, sincerity, stability, loyalty, respect for others, and also welcome a degree of spontaneity. I like challenges, both physical and mental, and have a somewhat sly sense of humor, so can dish out a little at times, but promise I can take it as well!
To sum it up, I am looking for that special someone who doesn't care if I wear a Timex or a Rolex, drive a Range Rover or a Ford Ranger, vacation in London, England or London, KY (well, that might be pushing it!!), but instead is interested in a guy who is sincere, honest, genuine, comes with just as much inside as on the outside, and hopefully would be a great partner. I am interested in meeting someone who is active/athletic, has a sense of adventure as well as a sense of humor, and enjoys many of the amenities CO has to offer but also is willing to hop on a plane and travel occasionally.
