Date a soulmate from California, United States. Hello hello!
I'm not really used to introducing myself just flat out, it's definitely easier to talk to people in real life.
Ok first of all I am a CG artist and my earliest memories I have from my childhood are using a computer and playing the old Atari and NES (especially Kaboom! and Duck Hunt respectively) at my grandparents house's. Ever since then me and computers/consoles have grown up together, but I never really considered the internet a source of relationships. Which is weird now that I think about it, because how are people who use computers as much as I do supposed to meet people otherwise! Well besides conventions... but those are loud and tiring and....usually smelly, not the best conditions I would say :P
That said I think the first thing anyone who has known me for longer than... an hour... would tell you I am mostly just super goofy. People that have known me longer than that ...would probly still say the same, BUT would also say that I know when to take things seriously.
I am very tinker oriented I like taking things apart, sometimes even put them back together! I come from a family of craftsmen, engineers, and tech geeks so I know my way around tools, guns, mechanical things on top of electronics and software and what not. I have definitely fit better in the "jack-of-all trades, master of none" category I never really found one particular skill that I enjoyed so much I wanted to devote countless hours honing, though I have always admired those who could.
I am pretty energetic and always up to try new interesting things!
Of course at the end of the day I usually just want to get cozy and just relax.
I guess I find a balance somewhere in the middle and am just content most of the time.
When I get really focused on something I have been told I have a "scary look" but I am just concentrating, no need for alarm!
I am sure people who have known me for a long time would probably, switch energetic with eccentric.
My mind does tend to wander so I tend to switch topics without noticing, or have a delayed response to something before.
Fortunately that eccentricity comes in handy in my chosen profession as a CG or digital artist.
I have been learning for the past 3 years how to make digital props (or models) to be used in video games and movies.
It has been rough but now come's the fun part of finding a job in the industry!
So needless to say I kind of like video games, movies/tv/shows, independent short films, and just all of art and design in general.
Fair warning though I do have a tendency to wander around if I am outside because I see some interesting piece of architecture or a really unique tree or something.
Working to make things in a virtual world to feel like it could exist in the real world has made me appreciate how infinitely complex and fascinating the real world can be. It has also honed my problem solving abilities due to many a computer crash or finding why a program suddenly decided to break. It really has helped me always look inward and try to improve myself by learning from past experiences. I really enjoy helping people, but I really only feel comfortable if I can know enough to explain it properly.
Which would be why, in the spirit of improvement, my ideal match is someone who can really be my other half.
That perfect mix where we work well together because we balance each others weakness's and strengths individually.
Well that was a lot about me, feels strange to type so much about myself! But I wanted too meet people I most likely would have never met in normal day to day life, so I am excited! I really enjoy hearing about other people's lives and what inspires them.
