Date a soulmate from California, United States. I am an easygoing gal. Not too many things bother me. Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart crack me up, and even SpongeBob Squarepants had me laughing the other day.
I am looking for a man with a strong, positive character. Like I said, not too many things bother me so as long as he is strong in a good way there is a chance things may work out. I want to share my life with someone who will value me and who brings me out of my comfort zone a little. I have many friends, but am looking for someone special.
I am most passionate about my health. I watch what I eat and exercise my body and mind as much as possible. Sleep has been a bit of a weakness for me as in I enjoy too much of it, but that could change ;).
Probably the most important thing for my mate is that he be someone I trust and am comfortable with, and that usually means that he trusts himself and is comfortable with himself - another way of putting that is that he is confident. I'm not looking for someone boastful or arrogant, just sure of himself.
Meet someone special from University Heights, United States. All parts in good working condition and well maintained for stated age.
I love to play outdoors in the dirt and snow. I'm a glutton for abuse: I find 100 mile bike (pedaling) rides "fun." Four wheels move the body: two wheels move the soul. I tend to sink when I swim: a consequence of 29 years of weight training. I'll travel on a whim: I don't need stars to classify the quality of a hotel, as I often prefer the one's outside of my tent. I've had the great fortunate of soaking in a brillant sunrise while summiting Mt Rainier with friends; but, I still appreciate the subtle magic of a weekend SoCal hike. NPR is frequently on my airwaves. I love to get lost in a good book. I strongly believe in overcoming inertia. I rarely watch TV and when I do its usually football, hockey (my beloved Red Wings), the TDF, or an occasional movie. I love a good burger and craft beer: however, I don't drink much. Friends, family, and experiences are my most precious gifts. Everyday I'm grateful for a multitude of reasons. I try to not take the simple and mundane things in life for granted; like being able to get out of bed on my own volition. Working on a spinal cord injury unit for many years helped shape this perspective. I am forever grateful to the many people who have touched my life in immeasurable ways.
My ideal match: loyal, athletic, smarter-than-the-average-bear, semi-evolved, and honorable. I'm seeking a male cohort to share in this adventure called life. Shared interests are important: but, seperate pursuits are good too. Life isn't always a "festival of laterns": so having the capacity to be present during the challenging times is as important as having the ability to share joyous moments. Bonus points for having the ability to: laugh when stuck in traffic, deliver a devilish smirk, occasionally buck convention, open doors for others, wear a kilt regimental, and grill a mean steak.
Thanks for reading my profile and the best of luck to you. If you are interested in more drop me a note....
