A great best friend, as said by my loyal and loving friends.(LOL) Love is something I am searching for and want, but find I am slow to give my heart away. One other bit of information I feel is important to put out there from the begining, I was injured many years ago which caused some issues that today result in my walking with a slight limp, as I wear a leg brace. I think its important to be honest from the start so as to filter out anyone who might have an issue with this. I don't want to invest time in someone who cannot see the exterior with acceptance and weigh the quality of soul with equal scales. I am quite capable of doing everything. (no high heels though) :)

Meet a woman from Tehachapi, United States. I was born in Czechoslovakia and lived in Germany for 15 years and came to this country when I was 26 years old. One of my children was born in Germany, two in Lancaster and one in Reno. They are a joy to me and turned out very well, I am very proud of them. By the way,they do not live with me! But I have two dogs which are very friendly after first barking at strangers! One is a mutt and looks like an auburn retriever and the other is a Pug. The pug was a stray in Las Vegas who adopted my son by living on his doorstep. My son advertised but nobody claimed him so he brought him to my house. I used to think that pugs were not the most attractive dogs,but he is so sweet and his face now makes me smile,which is good, because I like to smile! My friends describe me as a happy-go-lucky person, which is probably true because I am happy and feel lucky to be living in such a nice country with all the comforts that we have.

Date someone special from United States. Since this is something new for me I will start by stating I am 5 ft. tall, 100 lbs. What I lack in stature I make up for with energy and enthusiasm. I have always exercised and walked, usually an hour each day. I am a positive thinking, sunny day person.

I believe community service is important so I am a volunteer counselor at our local pregnancy center, volunteer at our community library and a local art gallery.
In addition to raising 4 children, I have been a professional wallpaper hanger, ( I used a TALL ladder ), medical assistant, manufacurer's sales rep working with engineers in electronic manufacturing and sold real estate. Now I manufacture spring-loaded pool cues for handicapped players, assembling and selling; testing them myself. I make 3-D paper tole pictures which are sold in a local gallery.
I am a good cook, make great cakes and pies, like Chinese, Mexican and Italian foods. Holidays are great and I decorate for every occasion but National Pickle Day.
I would like to meet someone who enjoys good food, likes to travel but enjoys quiet times too. Growing up in Colorado I still enjoy the snow as long as it isn't over 6 inches deep and doesn't last more than 3 days. My fireplace gets an almost nightly workout in the winter. Have never played golf but am sure I could learn to drive the cart. Baseball and basketball are great and don't object to football season; just don't understand all the rules. I hope you have a good sense of humor and can laugh at mistakes, after all we all make them.
