I'm 24 years old and work in construction with my dad. i have plans to take the business over after he retires but i don't mind not having as much responsibility at the moment. :) i work six days a week for the most part and long hours, for that i do not get much time to socialize with new people. i have an older brother and my parents have been married 30 years. me and my brother share our now passed grandparents house with a roommate. my parents live the next street over in the house i grew up in. family is very important to me and good family values are a must.
im a shy and reserved person, until you get to know me. i take pride in myself and for what i do. I'm very strong willed and I'm stubborn when i want to be. i can be rude sometimes but i never mean to do it on purpose and i always feel terrible after. for that i can be very loyal and i always want to be the best for who ever is in my life. i like to make people laugh but sometimes it don't work and i just look like an idiot. i don't have a big ego and self esteem wasn't always a strength for me. i can be very serious at times and other times just plain silly. i enjoy the outdoors and all its splendor. i spent endless summer days outside doing what ever came to mind when i was a kid. i still feel the same way but adulthood has taken over my time. when i do get free time i like to go on hikes with my dog samantha and go on evening walks with her. i try to stay as active as i can during the week, playing basketball or going for a run. one of my lives passions is surfing. i have been doing it for years but i have not gone in two years. its a part of my life i miss a lot and i am trying to get back to it. when I'm in the water is when I'm at peace with everything and life is good. another pass time is traveling to my families ranch in montana. i have gone every summer my entire life and i don't plan on stoping. its a very special place and i hold it close to my heart. as for going out at night, i like to enjoy new cuisines and see movies. I'm an avid pool player and bowling is always fun. kicking it with friends is always fun.
my job is physically demanding and some nights I'm not in the mood for much more than a movie and food. I'm hoping to find someone that can understand that and dosnt mind the situation. what I'm looking for is a person who is strong willed and independent. isn't so hard headed to new ideas and things. I am a creature of habit although I am trying to change that.
