Date people from United States. Self-characterization is always hard. If you were to look at the spam that comes my way on a regular basis, the picture looks like this: uber-religious, near-bankrupt, gambling and smoking addict interested in a career in criminal justice, or paralegal services, or ultrasound technology or dental assistance – but only by working from home earning thousands a week…and with an insatiable need for cheap Canadian Viagra. I suppose It's called spam for a reason. (The etymology is actually quite fascinating -- look it up on Wikipedia sometime).
The real me is down to earth but also full of mystery and capable of surprises. An East Coast mind with a West Coast soul. I am intellectually curious and love a fun and stimulating conversation…about psychology, world politics, current events, pop culture, why we're here, or just about anything else. I’ve taken surf lessons and ziplined in Costa Rica, white water rafted in the Pacific Northwest, learned to ski in Whistler, dined and danced my way through Vegas, traveled the road to Hana, and toured many a castle and church in Europe. And there are still a ton of places I’d like to see – Australia and New Zealand is a trip I plan to make happen in the next few years.
You may share some of my interests but you also bring something different to my world...I love to learn new things and see from new perspectives. I admire wisdom, a quiet confidence, integrity and warmth. I find the combination of humor, masculinity and intelligence sexy. And a nice smile never hurts.
I would love a partnership where we laugh often and support each other. Our conversations are interesting and playful, and our rapport places everyone around us at ease. We can also hang in silence. We do our own things. We do our thing. We’re cool with both. We stimulate each other – mind, body and spirit.
Even though we all grow and change throughout a lifetime, I think the things that make us uniquely us follow from the constant of family, friends and home. I am grateful to have known the loyalty of true friends, the wonder of a niece and nephews, a great family, and a successful and satisfying career. And there is so much more to come…
As the ghost of the dead father in Six Feet Under once said to his son, “You’re ALIVE you lucky bastard. You can do ANYTHING.”
Meet a woman from United States. Hello out there, thanks for double clicking on me!
First of all, I'm completely perplexed why my 'google home page' always seems to read in 'Japanese?' is it something Im touching on the keypad? this seems to follow me to other computers too; same thing on my work computer, and when I asked someone how/why is this in Japanese? their response is "don't know, never seen this before, how odd"...must be something Im doing? anyway, moving on....
i’d generally describe myself as playful, passionate, feminine, and wickedly funny! I love to joke around, tease, and be teased. I know the words “please” and “thank you”, and I play well with others. Im the kind of woman that takes the middle seat, and can let my hair air-dry (ok, sometimes..) I’m very passionate about life. I think the glass is half-full, but I can’t stop wondering what happened to the other half! Perhaps you know what's happened to it?
Lately, I’ve realized several things on my “To Do” list which would infinitely be more exciting! and that would be if I was sharing life’s activities with that someone special, doing things together such as (to name a few) taking day trips, exploring art galleries, going to bookstores, hiking on the weekends, wine tasting, skiing or horseback riding—you get the idea... (I especially love skiing and horse-riding!!.) Anyway, the word on the streets is that I’m very good cook, I love entertaining, and having someone to cook for. I also have a great sense of style, and really enjoy having someone around to dress up for. I consider myself a creative and visual person. I’m a Set Decorator in film and television and love my work. I've also been doing voiceover for the past 4 or so years which is load of fun and very gratifying.
Some other miscellaneous things about me; must have a daily dose of chocolate! I listen to РІР‚?morning Becomes EclecticРІР‚в„ў on KCRW, Satellite radio, and my music taste ranges from alternative to classical. I sneak a spoon of peanut butter out of the jar, i have a signature perfume, and I tend to sleep with the windows open and the blinds up so I can see the stars. I adore the smell of something baking or a stew simmering on the stove. I tend to read a lot when I have spare time and probably enough books to open a small library. I'm also an avid art lover and love discovering new artists. I've been known to 'color outside the lines' but my social conscious is intact! And IРІР‚в„ўm hoping to contribute to improving the world a little. Id like to at least make a tent..
My perfect match would be someone fun loving, supportive and has good morals and values. HeРІР‚в„ўs the kind of guy who compliments me and makes me feel special, and I do the same for him. HeРІР‚в„ўs my best friend and partner in crime. WeРІР‚в„ўre honest, communicative, and trusting. WeРІР‚в„ўre also wildly attracted to one another. And we would enrich and inspire one otherРІР‚в„ўs lifeРІР‚в„ўs to do and be our best...
Date men and women from United States. Love at first sight would be great as physically you have to desire the person, however they must be just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.I love eating out on the cheap or at the finest restaurant in town. But love cooking in together and watching DVD's the best.I like a man's man that BBQ's and watches NFL, knows his way around power tools and spends more time dusting himself off than fixing his hair.I'm super casual and love to laugh - A LOT.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm a happy, healthy woman, who recently moved here from SF. I love my family, friends, job and life. I'm just looking for someone to share it with.
If you're a genuine, happy gentleman living a full life, I would love to meet you!
Date someone special from United States. Hello~
I'm originally from South Carolina and when I have a glass of wine, I still have a bit of an accent. :) I've lived in Southern California since college, though, and am pretty much a local at this point.
I have a full life, a great family, and really amazing friends. I love to laugh and be silly. I enjoy being around people who don't take themselves too seriously and can laugh at themselves. I want passion, not drama. I'm a friendly & down-to-earth - for me the glass is always half full, not half empty. I believe that the key to enjoying your life is by having a great attitude and rolling with the punches.
I'm somewhat obsessed with traveling. I tend to take a couple of big trips a year - really, as many as I'm able. Recent trips include: NYC, Japan, Italy, Guatemala, Honduras, Greece, Spain. I enjoy visiting museums, seeing historical sites, eating the local food, and absorbing as much of the culture as possible. (I'm a big fan of UNESCO sites - perhaps that makes me a nerd, but I don't care.) Once I get back from a trip, I begin to plan my next adventure. Right now, I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen to eat a great meal. After that, I'm thinking about visiting Sicily in the spring.
I enjoy movies, love photography, the fine arts. I enjoy painting my own stuff (oils mostly), but don't do it as often as I should.
I tend to go-go-go all the time, but I think balance is important, and I really love a lazy Saturday spent in bed watching movie marathons.
I'm a bit of a foodie. I enjoy cooking & I love trying out new restaurants & bars. I'm in an eating club for "adventurous eaters" - at a recent dinner we had fried crickets! (Which actually were quite good and something I would order again.)
SoCal is so gorgeous and I love being outdoors here. I'm a fan of hiking in the hills, biking, going to the beach. I'm a big college football fan, and love basketball. I'm learning to play golf, but I'm not very good (yet!)
I want to learn something new every day. I like to think of life as an adventure. I'm looking for someone who is intellectually curious and a lifelong learner.
I'm really close with my family, and enjoy the time I get to spend with them. I'd like someone who values and understands the importance of family - and who wants to have their own someday.
I'm looking for someone fun and adventurous, who loves to laugh and enjoy life. Someone who is interesting, intelligent, with character and integrity.
If this rings true for you, please send me a message.
Good luck in your search!
Meet people from Santa Monica, United States. Don'tcha just wish...I'm referring to that song that depicts a certain image of a woman (albeit a little unrealistic). How can you blame a catchy tune. It's actually a fun song and sometimes we just need to lighten things up a bit...
I was raised in a close-knit family with solid values and I have had stellar male role models. I know deep down that there are really exceptional individuals right here, in this very diverse, eclectic metropolis. This wide platform should surely up the ante in connecting with a few :) I live a well-rounded, positive and happy life and feel it could actually be better with the right companion.
I am looking for someone who has depth, but also has a lighter, jovial side. I am open to meeting a sincere gentleman who is comfortable in his skin, honest with others and himself, confident, healthy and is willing to meet me in the middle. I am a person who follows through and is committed to whatever I put my heart into. What you will find in me is an active, bright, considerate, fit, passionate, proactive, grounded and healthy woman. When I feel comfortable, I like to tease. I take care of myself in all respects-inside and out. People are my greatest asset and far more important to me than possessions. Being true to your word is key and not to be taken lightly. A little can go a very long way in certain circumstances. It is the quality of the experience that matters most.
While I embrace being a lady, I also love sports and have played them all of my life and continue to do so; I've learned about camaraderie and embodying the team spirit since my formative years. Having an appreciation for culture, languages, art, cuisine, aesthetics, travel and compassion for others are all really top on my list. The quintessential immigrant work ethic is imbued in my veins and I am grateful for that. It is very attractive when someone is comfortable pursuing who or what he/she (I hold myself to the same standards!) deems worthy in life and stepping out of one's comfort zone sometimes. Like right here...see you along the road perhaps!
