I like to do things outdoors and to stay active ...but to say I am athletic wouldn't be quite right as I think that carries a connotation of coordination. So, clumsy and nearly-awkward, but good-spirited and eager to try new things. I like spinning; go on a weekly hike with a couple of girl friends (different trail every week); do training with a group on the beach twice a week too; walk/run (more walk, less run); pilates every once in a while; and looking forward to trying the barre method and paddle boarding this summer.
I am looking for a man who is bright, fun, kind-hearted, real, and whom I find attractive. And like every one else, a good sense of humor is essential. I'm always up for any kind of adventure—whether that's local or far out. I love riding shotgun on road trips, I'm a great navigator, and I'm game to stop at any road-side stop/bar/curiosity/point of interest. I'm really playful, but will be serious when need be. I like dive bars and I'll get you drunk on vodka and then make you go play "Dance, Dance Revolution" at the local arcade (are there local arcades anymore?), and then I'll be your docent through MoCA.
As for other stuff, I'm an art director for children's books. It's as fun as one might imagine—I work with artists and authors all day to put books out into the world. Happy stuff. Last year I did a triathlon and upon finishing it, swore it wouldn't be my last, said otherwise 3 hours later, but am now back to thinking about doing another one. But very loosely. In fact thinking about it may be as close as I get to actually DOING another one. Tbd...
