Date someone special from United States. Hi! I work for a small, stealthy start-up as a process engineer and I absolutely love my job. It has long (and sometimes strange) hours, but its amazing. I might seem a bit shy at first, but I easily break out of that shell once the conversation starts. I'm a bit of a nerd, more specifically a gaming nerd; I love board games and video games. Along with that, I have a strong passion for learning. As much of a nerd that I am, I'm quite outdoorsy and athletic. I enjoy sports like racquetball, tennis, and basketball and picked up cycling about a year ago. I also love hiking and try to go at least once a week. I like staying active and doing things, and I'm always up for a new adventure.

I don't own a tv because it distracts me too much and I think it wastes my time lol, but if I have time before going to bed, I might watch a tv show or movie on my laptop which is always more enjoyable when there is someone I can enjoy it with ;)

I'm a recent college grad who just moved to the South Bay. I work full time and love my awesome job. Staying out all night is a blast, but I've reached the age where it's difficult to both pretend to work and pretend to not have a hangover.
I'm really driven and diligent and blah blah blah. Look, I'm straight forward (and I give my honest opinion, even if it's not flattering) I work really hard at everything I do and never settle for anything less than the greatest, and don't want no scrubs. Some day I want to be married and maybe have/adopt/rent kids, but not any time soon, I'm still figuring out what I want out of life. I'm a people pleaser at heart and like randomly surprising you when you're having a crappy day. I also don't like stupid people and will mock the dumb blonde/dumb brunette/soulless ginger across the room. That balances out. Right? Right. If you've ever said ".....isn't funny at all!" then we probably won't get along. There's only three types of people, people who like jokes, and people who aren't good at math. I am sarcastic and will tell inappropriate jokes frequently, but not at your expense (or in front of your mother/boss)
Music=winning, and it's a big part of my life as I'm a part time fan/full time rockstar. Rock and alternative (any Foo Fighter fans out there???), but I'll listen to RB or whatever's on the radio. Country music is depressing. Concerts are awesome (especially at Oracle or SJSU), all the raw energy and emotion is like magic.
I'm going to have different views than you do on the important things: religion/politics/raiders/niners. I dont think theres anything wrong with having differing views than your partner. What you believe is your personal business. Both Conservatives and Liberals can make good points.
Physically I'm probably a little more than average so I go to the gym daily, and run all the time, even though it sucks, I don't like lazy people or those who want to stay indoors all day. Yeah, staying in and cooking dinner (yes, I know how to cook, and even clean) and watching a movie is nice once in a while, especially after a long day, but with dozens of Sushi, Indian, and Thai places so close by, why bother doing dishes? But hey, if you're shy or a bit of a homebody, there's nothing wrong with cracking open a bottle of wine and cooking Italian food or ordering in sometimes.
I'm not looking for a fling/one night stand or anything. I just want to meet someone cool and fun to hang out with, and see where it goes from there. I'm perfectly alright with meeting new female friends, so if you think maybe we'll click but not romantically, email me anyways.

I'm a singing in the shower person, and I definitely enjoy impromptu practice in the car. Music is a big part of my life. Playing the violin gave me a keen appreciation for music, and today there's not a genre I don't appreciate (seriously, you should see what it's like when my iPod is on shuffle). I'm always looking to expand my musical skill set, and I'm currently learning guitar. I don't watch too much television (there's not usually anything too fascinating on), but I do enjoy documentaries and shows like The Colbert Report, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, and Top Gear. Some of my favorite films include Star Wars, Annie Hall, The Matrix, and The Pianist.
