Well, I have an almost perfect life so far.. a nice place to call home, a good car and a fun and exciting career and I’m truly fortunate to have some really amazing people in my life but what is truly missing is someone to share this life with. You know? Someone to have great new experiences with, explore and take drives to nowhere in particular, learn with, laugh with and someone to enjoy every minute of it all with.. The first person you think of every morning and that last conversation every night.
I guess that you can tell that I am a romantic sort.. I can’t help but be reminded about how life is so short and I would like to share this amazing life with someone who is honest, caring and who tries to be the best they can each and every day. Someone who challenges me and that I can challenge too.. While not highly competitive.. Well, except for the game Words With Friends that is.. (PMO426) if you want to play BTW ;-) So, I have decided to put myself out there on the Interwebs, and try and find that special someone for me..
I am a firm believer in old fashioned values and am completely chivalrous and I believe that a man should open and hold a door for a lady and pull out her chair for dinner and be there for her, listen to her, communicate with her, always your best to her and treat her with love and understanding. It’s the way that I was raised by my parents and the way that I will always be.
A friend of mine recently said that I’m the nice guy most women look for.. Why am I still single? Well she is right, I am a nice guy (I try my best, no one is perfect) and someone like me shouldn’t be single.. So here I am.. Are you still reading? Good :-)
I am looking for something that could lead to a long term relationship as the whole “random hookup” or “one night stand” thing is not what I want. I enjoy making and seeing people laugh and smile, nothing helps a crappy day like a smile or a laugh to clear away the blues.. I love movies both classics and new, But give me an old B&W classic over Hollywood flash and fads anyday.

As I said I do really like to be playful and joke around and speaking of which I am known to have a unique sense of humor at times and can be quite sarcastic which some people just don’t get (hopefully you do) I really enjoy intelligent conversations and witty banter too. Currently I'm in Afghanistan. Probably the most interesting place I have ever been. The experience thus far has caused me to alter my perceptions of.... Well, pretty much everything.
So what to tell?
I have confered with my women friends and key words were; be honest, be funny, be driven, be tall... etc. etc.
Oh and I was told, have correct grammar! apparently women look for this.
Generally speaking, my grammar is spot on, all the rest is interpretation. ;)
It would be nice to meet someone. Lets keep it light. There is so much intensity out there and not enough enjoyment. I like all the standard stuff and I'm open to just about everything. I don't judge harshly but I will give my opinion. I love debate.
Who is truly an adventurer? And I don't mean Hawaii at Christmas or Europe on a summer vacation. Although both are in my future plans. ;) Perhaps, Hawaii is not in my future. For some odd reason it just doesn't do a thing for me. I learned to scuba dive but on a reasonably deep dive I looked up and realized there was no way I was going to be able to hold my breath for that long. Common sense eh. I digress.

Rather than leave love to random destiny I thought I would seek the advice of these two dieties, Aphrodite and Cupid.
They told me to be very specific this year as to who I'm looking for along with having the grace to be flexible and with that in mind here is the type of woman I asked them to help me find and they said yes if I promised to be honorable and kind.
A lady that laughs often and has a great sense of humor, is youthful in appearance and easygoing on the eyes,at least to me. It would be nice if she ikes to dance,Salsa,Ballroom or just having fun at the local Dive Bar, doesn't really matter to me where were at or what kind of dancing as long as we enjoy each other's company and have fun together. She's playful and knows how to let her man know shes's thinking of him during the day to where he makes excuses to get out of work early and come home to her at night. She's just as sexy wearing a little black dress or rocking a tight pair of jeans and values people over material things.
Since I've spoken to these two celestial beings of love they both told me that in order for them to fulfill my hearts desire I would have to be the kind of man that sets my woman's soul and passions on fire! Since I don't want to offend these dieties here is what my Soulmate will receive from me.
A man who will sweep her off her feet on the dance floor and more, cook her breakfast in bed and offer to share the last cup of coffee with her. She'll never have any doubt in her mind about how I feel about her as I'm very good at balancing work and life in order to make time for our relationship to be a priority, and if she's ever running late for a date because she's still at the Spa or shopping at Victoria Secret, I promise never to get angry, lol! I'm flexible to where I live since I'm able to run my career from my cell phone or computer aand m open to relocating in the bay area for the right one woman for me.
