I have been a Real Estate Professional for my entire career but I have slowed things down a bit so I have time to enjoy life. Fortunately I am in great health and good physical condition.

I look great in formal wear at a party, but seriously how often does that happen? I prefer blue jeans and a nice looking shirt. I like BBQ"s and cooking with you. I am FUN AND ROMANTIC ..........I am active, intelligent, and I am very entertaining. I am looking for someone who is fun loving and energetic but also likes to kick back and enjoy quiet private time. I appreciate someone who is articulate. I know you will to be attractive and self assured, but somewhat shy is alright too.. I would like someone with a sense of humor and likes to laugh. I dance during the week for exercise so please don't worry if you won't be on DANCING WITH THE STARS next season....neither will I. Ballroom Dancing is fun and great sport. And drama, I need lots of drama, life is really too long as it is. (Did you make it this far – okay, that was the shock and awe approach – couldn’t be further from the truth). Meet single man from United States. ADIOS and VAYA CON DIOS!!! So, This Is It! Time to say goodbye to you all as I am going off Match. It has been an enjoyable 3 months. I have learned a lot about myself and others and I wish you all well. Time is short. Life is fast. It will be over before you know it. And, it is all perfect just the way that it is. I love you all.......AND, I love nature. I love dogs. I love naturally pristine outdoor places and I am fortunate enough to have the land, the time and the money to enjoy them with a beautiful woman who is(or could be) truly comfortable in primitive settings. I'm in excellent physical shape and plan on retiring from the Long Beach Fire Department this year. I have an incredibly-thoughtful and responsible 21-year-old son who lives with his mother in San Juan Capistrano and goes to Saddleback College. And, I am lucky enough to have a ranch off Hwy. 74--the Ortega Hwy.--(the other properties are in N. Cal., S. Oregon, Washington"San Juan Islands" and Hawaii). Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, I have two large and well-behaved dogs, two horses and 100 acres to share with the right woman.
So much for my world, my desires and my plans. I am not opposed to compromise or to the possibility of falling madly "in love" with a woman walking another path and sharing in her world, her desires and her plans. As I am close to retirement, my parents gone and my son on his own, I am at a crossroads in my life.
I am in very good health and flexible in my home base (have traveled the world over) and I am(and always have been) "the father of all adventurers". So, what are you waiting for?----your next life? Remember, "we are born, live and die but in the blink of an eye.".

I'm entering a new phase of my life. When my wife passed away it ended our magazine (it took both of us to publish) so I am now semi retired doing taxes in the tax season and free the other 2/3rds of the year. I haven't yet determined what I will do with this freedom partly because it's too soon and partly because I am hoping to find someone to share it with.
Our magazine, Costa D’Oro, covered art, history and elegant living on South Orange County’s Gold Coast including haute Orange County (i. e. the social scene) so I am comfortable in most environments. I have a wide range of interests and experiences (which is why we could do a general interest magazine) so I'm confident we can find a lot of things to do which interest both of us. While I don’t consider myself either an alpha or beta male (I’m too independent to be either a leader or a follower), we had the guts to start our own business in a very competitive market (magazines) and the savvy and drive to make it work for 14 years.
Among my passions today are economics, politics and how a society organizes itself. Naturally I'd like someone who shares my interests. Discussing, more than debating, issues is a lot of fun with someone you like who is interested, intelligent and informed. My political views are mainstream conservative. However, one of my favorite sayings is, "If two people agree on everything, only one of them is doing the thinking" so I want someone who shares my INTEREST in these subjects but I definitely do NOT require that she agree with me. (OTOH if you are a passionate Leftist we probably won't get along.)
Financially I'm not wealthy but I do have enough. I won't be able to whisk you off to Paris every weekend but I will be able to take you to nice restaurants. And I'll never need or want to ask for money.
I am looking for someone who is quite romantic and who enjoys cuddling. And yes, making love is part of a good relationship (especially since I am a one woman man). If you're happy with 5 or 10 minutes once or twice a week we aren’t right for each other. I do two sets of a hundred pushups 3 times a week (the most I was ever required to do in the Marine Corps was 65) and run a mile or two so I'd like a partner that is reasonably fit. Of course the more attractive the better.
I do want to emphasize, however, I’m not one of those guys who thinks of sex at the drop of a dress (hat, hat, drop of a hat). I value a woman for her mind, not just her ...hot ...sensuous ...desirable ...body. Also, I have an offbeat sense of humor. But you’ll have to take my word on that for right now.
Seriously though, I had a wonderful life with a beautiful woman for 28 years. (She and I are in the photo where I’m wearing the tux.) She was my best friend and I was her’s and I had planned to spend the rest of my life with her before the cancer ended everything. Naturally I would like another beautiful woman who likes the things I like, who I can satisfy, and who wants to share the rest of my life.
But even if that is not possible, finding someone to share laughs, fun and an occasional dinner with is far better than a life completely alone. If you find my profile and my picture interesting, email me. Who knows?
