Date single man from United States. I'm in the process of moving to the LA area for work (ask me where, it's kinda cool). Consequently I know nobody and nothing. Seriously, everything I know about SoCal I learned from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I've unhappily come to learn that the show isn't as accurate as I might have hoped.
I just left southwest Florida. Everyone -- myself included, until I got here -- seems to assume that southern California and southern Florida ought to be pretty similar-ish, but it turns out that's not the case. For one, I've been here almost a week and I haven't encountered any flora or fauna that wants to kill me; by contrast, the average time-to-dangerous-critter in Naples is just under eleven seconds.
Anyway. I'm quiet; I'm a bit of a geek; the relatively few people who get my sense of humor tend to think I'm pretty funny (often intentionally); my hair ranges from 'very short' to 'entirely absent'; I like the cold; I drink far more Diet Coke than is probably healthy; I no longer have a favorite TV show now that House is gone (moment of silence); I'm hoping to be more outdoorsy now that I'm living someplace where I can be outside for ten minutes without passing out from dehydration; I'm a Scorpio, and if that matters to you I'll probably think that's hilarious; I enjoy writing long lists for comedic effect.

Obviously, I’m looking for an amazing woman but, aside from that, I’m excited about the direction my life is going when it comes to friends, family, career and goals. Although I feel that I’ve worked hard to get where I am today, I always look forward to spending time with my friends and my family. In my free time, I try to get outdoors as much as possible. I’m a huge fan of most sports as well as scuba diving, sailing, snowboarding and camping. Being an engineer I am pretty handy. I enjoy working on my cars, my house, carpentry, and really anything I can get my hands on. There aren't too many problems that I can't figure out. I purchased my first home a year ago and I’ve found that I really enjoy working on it. I am pretty good with the grunt work but could definitely use a women's touch for style.
I am pretty easy going and love to joke around. My job is very technical but I try and always keep things pretty lose with everyone. I love all forms of comedy, be it movies, stand-up, or podcast. Anything with Bill Murray is always a good choice.

I am a big football fan so you can always find me watching a game on Sunday during football season. During the week, I am usually working. But I try to make up for it by enjoying the beach, biking, working around the house or just hanging out. I try to work out at least a few times a week or go for a run. Not sure if an ideal relationship can be pre-described. True love already seems to show up where you least expect it. Before I bore you with what exactly I do at work, let me tell you what I like to do outside of work… I spend time with my Little Brother (through Big Brothers Big Sisters), I’m an avid sports player (softball, tennis, racquetball, basketball), as well as an avid sports watcher (anything with a ball). I enjoy the occasional drink too, somehow booze makes me a much better (or is it much more willing?) dancer. My favorite thing ever is making people laugh, I think I'm a big goofball kid at heart.
My perfect match would be somebody that can make me laugh (or at least laugh with/at me), somebody intelligent that is success oriented with career goals, somebody that likes playing and watching sports with me. Also, liking board games is a big plus since that's what helps me unwind on the weekends.
