I'm at least of the opinion that I have a somewhat complex personality. I can be straightforward and very serious and don't like to lead people astray, yet I can be quite the whacky jackass whenever the situation arises around people I know can handle that side of me :) Any "relationship" rather with a girl or a friend is all about trust to me, which is why I've managed to keep a hold of a good many close friends for so long, many dating back to grade school.
I pocess an insatiable appetite for history and reading extensively is a part of that, I bike all over town because it's convenient and helps keep me in shape. I have been playing the guitar since the 3rd grade. I come from a very literate, self-educated family that keeps themselves informed on world events. I pride myself on being an honorable person, always try and do right by people and "do not" have any major regrets so far in life so expect to be treated as such.
I was raised surviving in the Great outdoors and love it. I have been hiking, camping, fishing and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada’s since I was a wee lad. I have many varied and wide interests. I am open to almost anything, yet I can be very opinionated when it comes to topics I’ve ensured that I’ve viewed from all sides but will, however so grudgingly, change my mind if new information is made available which sways my opinion.
I don't really harbor any fears and try to confront seemingly insurmountable obstacles head on. The only exception is being shy around really cute girls :^ ). When I finish with school I would like to work for the National Park Service while I prepare myself to eventually teach history at the college level. I am currently attending Fullerton University, about to finish up my BA in history. Then I will go for my criminal justice and work for the National Park Service while preparing myself to teach history at the college level .
I'm good at being picky, having the backbone and grit to control my emotions and think logically even though I’m very sensitive, playing the guitar, being a bit weary of people, being honest, analyzing the situation, preparing for every likely scenario. I am a good listener and a collected talker. I can make you laugh your pantaloons off.
The first things people usually notice about me at first glance, my subtlety, my eyes of course and on the other hand, my frankness. My humor comes eons later, but have been told plenty of times that it not only flys out of nowhere and a day but is definitely worth the wait.

Growing up i played a variety of sports including Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Swimming. I swam competitively for 14 years including 2 years in college. Since i stopped swimming i got involved with coaching. I have been coaching for 11 years now, and love every minute of it. I am working with a non-profit team and coach some of the older athletes on the team. I take pride in the fact that i love my job. I am a huge sports fan. I love to go to Dodger games, and Laker games. I am a very competitive person, don't forget that i am a coach for a living. But i know when enough is enough. Other than sports, i enjoy being outside, going to the beach, camping, rock climbing, and trying to surf. I am a certified scuba diver so i like to go out when i can.
I have a small family, but just makes us all stronger. I have a very close relationship with my mom and brother, and we all know that we will be there for each other. I mean that is part of what family means.
What i am looking for is someone who is perfect for me. I believe that every successful relationship has the basis of a few significant details that each person holds close to them. Health is very important to me and I always strive to maintain my healthy lifestyle but at the same time I avoid making it boring. I also like to set goals in life and take the necessary approach to meet those goals such as a body type. Yes, I know this makes me sound caring, loving and romantic but I've learned through my experiences that things don't come easy so don't think you will get all of that and expect me to be taken for granted which means I won't hesitate to put you in your place if you get out of line or ever want to start some crazy non sense drama, just letting you know from now.
I am a one woman man and when the right woman comes along she will find out how affectionate I am towards those I really care about. She does not have to be very tall but not too short, every height has it's perfect match and I want someone that best fits my physique and style so if you're a 5'7" or taller you'll fit right in. I believe in motion equals emotion and the way a body moves is also important to me (get your head out of the gutter we haven't met and you're already thinking this way?, although that's a plus for sure) but you know what I mean. I'm not a neat freak but I do enjoy cleanliness, the worst thing for me is to see a slob and a smell that comes along with it, does not do well with me. She has high-maintenance looks with a down-to-earth attitude, values, and personality. She definitely has to be mature but also knows how to have fun, likes to dance, experience new things, and all that good stuff, just be who you are all women have a girl in them so don't hesitate to show it, I won't judge ok maybe just a little.
