I'm originally from a small rural town in Oklahoma (5,000 people and largest for 70 miles in any direction), came out to California for college, lived at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for a few months, then started a job out here with a software company. I'm still at the same company, and it's been a really good place for me to work and balance my other interest, which is competing in triathlons.
Since I was 7 years old, I have been swimming, biking, and running, and for the past several years have made a strong effort to try and make the Olympics in the sport of triathlon. Unfortunately, I've had some setbacks along the way, but I still keep trying and hope that someday things finally click. In the meantime, I think it's about the journey, and I really enjoy training, pushing my body to its limits, and then competing against the best. I haven't raced seriously in 3 years due to injury/surgery/motivation issues, but have kept my training up to a decent level (1600 days in a row of at least 30 minutes of swim, bike, and/or run), and hope I can compete well later this season.
I really like to travel and go to nice restaurants from time to time, but not by myself, so maybe you can help with that? Right now I'm trying to find someone fun and interesting who shares some common core values. I'd say I'm pretty conservative, but I don't really have a liberal vs. conservative litmus test. However, someday I do hope to have a family, and I think it would be a deal breaker if that weren't in a Christian home.
Some other fun facts: I was on Wheel of Fortune, in a milk commercial, and interviewed by ESPN when I was 9...oh and just this week (well, probably longer than that now that you're reading this) I did a swim workout with Lance Armstrong. No joke! It was kind of surreal when he jumped in my lane at practice.

I used to reside in the quaint little town of Castro Valley throughout my whole life and recently relocated to to the Peninsula.
I'm very extroverted, creative, and have an affinity for art, animation, and indie rock music. Though I am a man that enjoys nurturing my creativity, I also enjoy video games, running, waxing nostalgia and other recreational activities.
