Most of my family lives in Southern California so it would be hard for me to move away again (I lived in Dallas for a little bit). I am very lucky to have an amazing job that keeps me very busy. I love to workout and used to be a competitive middle distance runner. Exercise is my addiction and something I do in order to connect with the life force and myself. It centers me. I am a vegetarian and very health conscious but I don't have a problem with meat eaters. Politically I am liberal. I don't own a television because I prefer to read, take a walk, spend time with a friend, write, or just think. I don't want my mind and interior hijacked by a television (or as my father calls it, "the idiot box"). I don't have a problem with TV in moderation but it has become a way of life for a lot of people and I think it can lead to disconnection and desensitization.
I am looking for a family oriented, grounded guy who takes care of himself (emotionally and physically), someone who is appreciative, onsiderate, gentle, tries to understand (versus passing judgement), someone who communicates (No winks, limited texting). I am not interested in being a booty call & I don't do casual sex so if this is your deal, then F-off. I am also surprised at how much lying takes place on this site. Lying is absolutely disrespectful. Don't do to others what you would not want done to you....it's not rocket science.

I am still getting used to not carrying a brolly with me at all times and waking up to sun through my window. I am active and love climbing, skiing, horseback riding, and anything outdoors with a bit of adventure and mud. I successfully dance while driving. I eat my peas. I like long walks on the beach unless I am tired and then I just want to cozy-up with a good tea. Kids like me. I don't always put my cart back at the grocery store. My mom says that I am a good kid. I can do the moonwalk (if the floors are slippery enough). I don't throw like a girl but I catch like one. I can find something interesting to talk about with anyone. I don't like mean people. I giggle at things I probably shouldn't. I have done enough good things that I will probably make it to the golden gates. I am known to cry at movies and at the symphony but usually try to hide it. I like a good challenge. I can't bake a very good birthday cake but I am killer at making other dishes. I don't whine - And am not a "wino." I am unique and fun but not a freak. I can change from your average hot pink formal frilly mini dress into an itsy bitsy tiny winy yellow polka dot bikini in a NY minute (obviously there is a Jacuzzi involved). I am sensible but spontaneous. I can do a front flip on a trampoline. I brush and shower several times a day. I like to juice veggies. I do yoga but can't tell you the names of the positions. I do my work before I go out to play. I can balance my checkbook in my head (not on). I try anything once if I won't get killed and nobody gets (seriously) hurt. I stop to smell the roses or just stop and look at them if they are purdy!

Please be normal (no freakazoids please) and in shape (yaknow-a non- smoking lean mean machine:). I am not "desperate" to add anyone to my happy little life but would like to “take-on” a partner if Mr. Right comes along.
