Looking for a man that isn't afraid of wearing his heart on his sleeve a little. I still want a man and not a cry baby or someone too sensitive I just mean someone that is open about how they feel in the relationship (back to the no bull part lol). Loyalty and trust I believe are two things that are crucial in a relationship in order to have a lasting one. I grew up all over the place so have had to get used to adapting to new situations and new environments, which has really helped me be a very social person. Many of my friends can tell you that I am the kind of person that could just talk about anything and everything and am able to really either open up a person or make things a little more comfortable by helping the conversation flow. But I am also a really good listener. My friends are second most important to me. They practically are family since most of my immediate family lives in either Texas or Kansas where I grew up a little bit of a country girl. Even though I am a born California girl I am not afraid to bait a fishing line, get a little muddy, or do a little hard work either while still being a bit of a girlie girl. Growing up I did a ton of fishing in the Puget Sound in WA, grew up riding horses most of my life, just got into paddle boarding and have taken up bringing my dog with me as well (makes things much more difficult), you'll see me at torrey pines hiking around there at times, or just cruising around on my bike. I like to spend the few days I have off with friends or out and about doing something rather than cooped up in the house. I have a lot of goals in life that I have yet to accomplish, but work very hard to get there everyday.
I do looove to cook especially for other people. BBQs are definitely a favorite of mine...definitely been known to host my fair share of them especially during the summer time. I avoid drama! I tend to just run away from it not just avoid it. Why stress yourself out with other peoples drama?

The passion I have for my job gave me an extra push to go back to school to get my Aesthetics License, I just graduated and glad to be done.
In my free time I enjoy being active, Pilates is my exercise of choice but I like going to the gym and getting my cardio on, go hiking (when it isn't so hot), bike rides etc. It is always nice to have someone who shares the same lifestyle, but isn't addicted to it. Meat heads kind of freak me out...actually...yea they do. I love to cook and bake, I am not a chef by any means but baking is my thang. I bake some mean Banana Bread Cupcakes...yum. Now let me tell you a little bit about myself, I landed in San Diego about two years ago and work as an Art Director for a silk screen company. I graduated from the University of Oregon and love my Ducks and all the shenanigans associated with football season. Although I've been all around the world I love San Diego and all the city has to offer. Particularly all the local Microbreweries around town, those babies are hotter than Hansel right now! My favorite holiday is Halloween and I'll take any costume party excuse I can find to dress up and don a mullet or finger mustache. If it's sunny I like to be outside, and am always psyched for a camping trip. I love to go running on Sunset Cliffs, crunch it at the gym, and stay in shape.

Since I've been out here on the west coast, I've taken 4 surfing lessons. My first lesson I actually did a head stand on the board riding a wave (on purpose), now I can't even stand on the board.

I always strive to be a better person, I know i'm not perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be. I have a strong work ethic, and have high expectations for myself. My work schedule is quite demanding, so yoga is mandatory at least twice a week to keep me sane. In some ways I'm a bit traditional, but i'm not looking for so much the traditional life/lifestyle. I don't like things to be the same or boring, I always need something to be changing, otherwise i feel stagnant.

As for my match, I'm learning more each day what "he" will encompass, but I really just want to find someone who knows what he's looking for and is willing to learn and grow together. Nobody's perfect (especially me), but I fully respect that person who will take a step back and see both sides of every story. A relationship is nothing if there is no trust; honesty is a MUST. Past relationships have taught me, amongst other things, communication, patience, treating your partner better than your best friend and not as an emotional punching bag, respect, and acceptance. I admire anyone who has the ability to look outside themselves and apply these things to a relationship, and I try to incorporate them daily in my interactions.
