a person who loves to smile and make others laugh. It brings me joy so see others happy, call me selfish. I will do most anything to get someone to smile or make them feel better about their selves. I am proud of my accomplishments and the person I am becoming in life's uphill battle at times. I enjoy being active, hitting the gym or soaking up the beauty of nature in the hills or at the beach. But I also don't mind spending a day of watching re-runs on the couch either every once in awhile.
I was born and raised on the central coast of California, but I love learning about others and the world around me. I am hungry for travel and experiencing different cultures, I just got my passport and have been to 8 different countries this last year and ready to take on more of the world...when I get a budget for it.
Growing up I learned to love reading, art, dance, animals and helping others. And I try to keep up these passions on a day to day basis.
My ideal match would be someone who is also compassionate, outgoing and willing to push me to be a better a person. Someone that wants to go see what the world has to offer. Who is also striving for growth intellectually, culturally, and more. Similar tastes in views about life, music and movies is always nice but not always necessary. Also someone who wants a relationship. Dating and friendship is always nice but right now I am looking for a relationship. I try to find happiness in everything I do. Some of my happiest moments include enjoying the precious moments I have with my son (i.e. chasing him around all over the soccer field! :), relaxing on the couch watching a good movie and eating popcorn, or taking in the scenic beauty that California offers. I love being outdoors, especially walking or hiking the many trails such as Montana de Oro or Pt. Mugu SP in the Santa Monica Mountains (ahhh...something I started but have yet to finish are the Sycamore or La Jolla Canyon trails! Would you like to join me?). There are so many activities that I would like to do again or try – this list includes sailing, trying new foods (how about fried starfish in Singapore?) and activities, exploring and traveling to other countries, like Ireland and New Zealand.

I am very family-oriented and would like a person who has great family values. I own an arabian horse and ride often. Riding is a tremendous source of stress-relief! Would love to find a man out there who owns and rides horses too, but so far no luck on that.
