What will I tell you? I'm a bit old fashioned - I won't wink first but I just might wink back, Im a bit weird, I like that British comedy stuff, I love butter and bacon and whole milk and I won't apologize for it, I like novelty pens that light up or make noises because they make me smile all day at work, I like goofy jokes (two peanuts walk into a bar. One was assaulted!  get it? Assaulted. A salted peanut.) I like flowers delivered unexpectedly but I like balloons better, I write letters to deployed soldiers who need their spirits lifted because it really does make a difference to them, Im eclectic in every way possible. Music: from Elvis and Frank Sinatra to the big hair bands to Uncle Kracker to Black Eyed Peas to The Barber of Seville. I like watching UFC fights just as much as the Nutcracker Ballet. I can dress up properly and sit at High Tea in San Francisco or hop into an ATV and get covered in dirt in the middle of who knows where (hopefully whoever Im with knows where). I can sit and chat over a Scrabble game or run around screaming shooting Nerf Darts at predetermined targets. I like going to museums and learning new things just as much as hanging out playing pool and air hockey or bowling.
What would be a nice day? Go out for sushi. Go wine tasting. Spend a day in San Francisco being a tourist. Go explore a museum. Visit a place thats supposed to be haunted. Mini go cart racing! Take a drive up or down the coast and just sight see. Go see a stand-up comedian. Go to a movie. Sometimes just going out for an ice cream and walking around window shopping. For the most part, it doesnt matter where you go or what you do. If youre with the right person youre going to have a great day.
What am I looking for? A true friend. Someone to laugh with. Someone to weather the storms of life with because eventually rain will fall. Someone who will pay attention to what my days off are and call me up and show me something I've never done before and show me exactly why they like it so much. Someone who understands that "my time", "your time" and "our time" are all equally important. Someone who understands that discussing things is far more effective than yelling things. Someone who accepts plain old simple me. and more than I'd like to admit, someone who can melt me.
