The brain-to-fingers connection appears to be temporarily off-line! I think my friends would say I'm smart, loving, compassionate, and passionate about the things I care about. I'm a late bloomer heading into an exciting stage of my career, so if you're looking for someone to slow down with, I'm not she! I won't object to cutting back in a few years, and playing more, but life is too exciting to slow way down right now! I love antique shows in funky small towns, street fairs and cottages on the beach, interactive museums and intriguing architecture, and travel (near and far) to places that are much different from here. I have so many interests that I can't list them all here. Almost everything holds some attraction for me. My particular interests are drag racing, NASCAR and classic cars. I enjoy a great baseball game and have become an Angel fan over the years, a Dodger convert. Football season isn't my big interest but I do enjoy it and watch occasionally.
Believe it or not, besides all those "guy" things, I enjoy music, books, crocheting, travel and friends. My church is a lot of my social life and I'm involved with several areas. I play in the hand bell choir and serve as a deacon. Driving vacations are the best and I take one every year. I know, it sounds like a busman's holiday for a messenger but driving relaxes me and clears my mind of all my stresses. Sometimes work is my escape as I drive all over Los Angeles! Alaska is my dream vacation and I'd love to drive it but that may be a little imaginative!
