I think it's important to establish a meaningful friendship before entering into a relationship, so that there is a strong foundation to the relationship beyond simple attraction and what not. With that in mind, I'm not opposed to meeting people who just want to be friends....but if something special were to blossom from such a friendship, here is what I'm all about and what I'm looking for.
I consider myself to be a kind and sensitive person. A bit shy perhaps, but once I get to know you I am more than willing to talk for hours with you about life and love and everything under the sun. All in all, I think I'm a fairly good communicator--open and honest about my feelings, slow to anger, and eager to listen to what others have to say. I love to read, love to watch movies (whether silly or profound) and love to talk deeply about the things that matter, the passions that drive us, and the things that give our lives meaning. All of that might make me sound like a terribly serious person....But in fact I feel like my sense of humor is my greatest asset. I joke around a lot, break out into song more often than I'd care to admit, and am quite fond of watching wonderfully bad movies. I love to laugh with people. Laughter crosses all boundaries and can help you connect with people from all walks of life. I come from a family of hilarious, goofy people, and I love them more than anything...and any woman who can slide comfortably into that environment would be perfect for me. I'm very close with my family, and thus it's important for me to find someone who connects with them.
I'm an honest and hardworking person. I really love my job because it provides me with an opportunity to help others, and enriches my life just as much as it enriches theirs. You can ask me more about if you'd like, as I don't want to blab on about it here.

I really feel that I have a lot to offer--A good sense of humor, intelligence, sensitivity. I'm a loving person, and I try to see the best in people, and try to build them up. I'm generally optimistic, and always strive to be encouraging and friendly to those around me. I'm looking for someone who has those qualities as well, and who pushes me to become a better person. If I could sum up my thoughts on love (a daunting task!) I'd say that true love accepts us and cherishes us as we are, but also drives us forward and gives us the strength to become the person that we were meant to be.
