I spend a lot of time in front of a computer for school / work and so getting out and doing other things is especially important. I've spent about 12 years practicing martial arts, and feel as though I am a more grounded and laid back person because of it, though I do have a firey side. I enjoy rock climbing and backpacking as well as camping out. I started dancing Blues in October, and have been loving that experience. I am originally from Connecticut but moved out to California a few years ago for grad school. Currently working on finishing up and enjoying life for the time being. I enjoy traveling and there are a lot of really great places that I would like to visit including Washington, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Australia, Japan, Alaska, and the Mediterranean to name a few. Since I'm way too far from my parents and brother, we travel to each other about once a year. This year I spent the holidays in Hawaii with my brother and his wife, and then cruising with Mom in April for our 3rd time. Each time is a little different and a great time with them.

I've been camping since I was a baby so it's something I'll do for the rest of my life. There's nothing like fresh mountain air and the view of the stars without city smog and lights.I camp when I ride dirt bikes, ride mountain bikes, go rock-crawling up around Lake Tahoe, or just if want to get away from the rush. One dream I have is to ride across the U.S. on a motorcycle so it would be great if you enjoy motorcycles. I will also will be traveling to Europe in the next few years.
