I enjoy everything about nature, being sunrise, sunset, wildflowers, birds singing, leaves swaying in the mild wind, or the calm and cool breeze of the ocean. Besides animals and nature, I also love playing tennis and have fun driving a car, although lately I don't have time for much anything (except driving.. ha ha) because of my long daily commute to work. A little bit about my past, I grew up in Bangkok and moved here 15 years ago. Now I work as a pharmacist at a retail drug store. I love it here in OC. The diversity is great, foods are good and there are so many fun activities to do.

Unfortunately, it is a bit difficult getting back into an active lifestyle after about 5 years off, so if you don't enjoy being active, and only do it because you think you have to - we probably aren't a match. I'm looking for a working professional woman (unless you are independently wealthy and retired - HA!) who still understands what it is like to be there for her man. I gravitate towards slender women with long dark hair, but this is more of a guideline than any rule. If you like to wear heels and skirts, it is a big plus, although I range from flip flops to sport jackets in a matter of minutes (I rarely ever wear a tie any longer).
Unlike most men in Southern California, I'm not necessarily a fan of aftermarket body parts. I prefer great legs and a great backside over an exposed chest (and larger is not better in my opinion), but it is a generally happy and positive woman with a great smile who loves to laugh that really catches my eye.

So… if you’re still reading, here’s the deal.
I just finished a nine month project in Oregon traveling the state in a 5th wheel, working on post offices. I have committed six months to remodeling her house, before I pull up anchor again, and leave this synthetic wasteland for the Western slope of the Rockies, where I plan to buy land and finally build my own home.
It would be great, however difficult, to find an Intelligent, interesting and fun loving woman to spend some quality time with while I am here. I am not looking to “hook-up” I have outgrown that in my life. In fact I would be perfectly happy to begin with a friendship, and see what develops. I am reasonably well educated, and enjoy stimulating conversation; however I have no real interest in politics or current affairs. I don’t believe that anyone can change the world, but we can all make our little corner of it a better place to live. I am honest to a fault, enjoy laughing at myself often, and am loyal to the core to my family and those few that I consider my friends. I was raised to believe that a lady should be treated like a lady, that the words “please” and “thank you” are not OPTIONAL. And to treat others the way you would like to be treated. At this point in our lives we have become who we are going to be. I have faults…Plenty of faults! So do you, but I like who I am, you should too. Relationships should be about compromise NOT conformity. I am enamored by all of the intricacies that make up a confident independent woman. Be forewarned… I am not your average bear! I work hard and I love to play hard! I believe that if you are not crashing you are not learning! That is not to say that I can’t lounge and cuddle on a Sunday morning, but life is short, you regret more things you didn’t do, than things you did! I am not expecting you to be this way, just putting it out there. I am extremely fit, although I would not consider what I do to be working out. I don’t go to the gym; I’ll go climb a hill. Four hours of volleyball on a Friday night is FUN for me! I don’t expect you to be ready to climb Everest, but you shouldn’t get winded trying to pack for it either. I am all boy! I was raised on classical music and theater, but I prefer hard rock and dirt in my teeth! (O.K. more likely snow or water, but yeah, sometimes dirt too!) I don’t do mertrosexual . I don’t have, nor do I plan to get any tattoos, although I don’t mind if you do. I don’t need to buy a Harley to satisfy a midlife crisis. I won’t dye my hair to look younger. I can clean up well, when the occasion calls but I am definitely a jeans and T-shirts kind of guy.
Most importantly I want to stress that my stay in California is temporary. If we were destined to be together, then it would have to be in Colorado. I have lived there before, and it is where I belong. If you understand this and you would like to meet someone who just might restore your faith in the male gender for a while, then drop me a line.
I have not spent a lot of time on here recently. I have been back and forth to Colorado. (Iam in Denver now in fact). Mom's house is almost done. It is looking like mid to late June for my departure.

A smart woman is very, very sexy to me. I would love to admire your mind and your looks at the same time, from across the dining table or as we ride up the chairlift on a ski slope. In many areas of my life, I am very much a hands-on person. That means I design and do most of the home improvement work myself, and only hire skilled tradesmen to do work that I have no skill or tools for. The same goes for vacation planning, as I much prefer doing the research myself and planning my route, instead of going on a cruise ship or going on a packaged tour.
I like to cook at home, and it will be even better if we cook together. Some of my favorite foods are smoked salmon, Nabeyaki udon, Cantonese style (Yuang Chow) fried rice, steak with pepper and garlic, lots of fruits, stir fried vegetables, creme brulee, clam chowder, and smoked pork ribs made in my backyard in a specially designed box.
My favorite NPR radio shows: Fresh Air, Marketplace, news. I love to listen to in depth interviews of interesting people. I prefer reading in depth newspaper and magazine articles instead of watching short, sensationalized TV newscasts.
I worked in Ottawa, Canada from 1987 - 1994 before I was picked off by a recuirter to work in Southern California. Since that time, I've worked in Silicon Valley (NorCal) and Boston, before returning to SoCal many years ago.
I read books on architecture, industrial design, finance, politics, photography, automotive engineering. Now I am reading Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky, since my daughter has already read all 17 books. I am on book 9 now, and I love it.
In my high school years, I loved to go downhill skiing. I grew up in North Vancouver, Canada. It was a short bus ride to Grouse Mountain. When I was young, I studied classical piano playing up to just below the grade where you are certified as a teacher, and also studied western music history. At high school, I was exposed to jazz, but I never learned to improvise jazz music on the piano. That's why I love attending live music concerts. I visited The Knitting Factory in NYC back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. The jazz bands that played there were incredible. My favorite band through my high school years was Renaissance, with Michael Dunford writing most of the songs and Annie Haslam singing all of them.
I don't do FWBs, and that's why I still have a Honda NSX sports car in my garage.

My kids are older now and live out of state. Two boys and a girl. Great kids! I talk to them every day and see them about once a month.
I am a runner. More than a marathon every week(not all at one time) Clears my mind, keeps me in shape....
Loyalty, respect and communication are how I live my life and I expect the same from my partner. I am very easy going but also am very strong with my beliefs.
