Date men and women from California, United States. I'm a pretty easy-going guy and I love meeting new people, trying new things, and traveling to new places. I'm from Connecticut, went to college in New York, flight school in Texas and Florida, and now I'm in San Diego to fly helicopters. I love my job but it keeps me pretty busy during the week, so I try to be pretty relaxed in my free time and I make the most out of my weekends by partying with my friends and spending as much time as I can outdoors and being active during the day. One of my favorite things to do is SCUBA diving. I haven't had a lot of time to go diving these days, but I'd be down to go on a weekend some time. I used to be pretty into underwater photography too, so just ask if you're interested in seeing pictures! I love to ski as well, but unfortunately living in Texas and Florida made that pretty difficult. I'm excited to be out on the west coast with some mountains nearby, and I can't wait to get out my mountain bike for the same reason. Another favorite is wake boarding... if only I had a boat out here. I'm always looking for new ways to have fun and be active. I enjoy eating out and trying new, unique restaurants, pubs, bars and food. I love to travel and so far I've been to Cozumel, Mexico; the Bahamas; Grand Cayman; Jamaica; Puerto Rico; London; Paris and Toulon, France; Bahrain, Sicily, and a pretty good amount of the U.S. I want to see as much of the world as possible. I like women who have a strong sense of humor, and I have thick skin so don't hold back when it comes to joking around. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for in terms of dating, but I'd enjoy meeting someone new and seeing how it goes.
Meet a boy from La Jolla, United States. I just moved to San Diego from rural Mississippi, and every day keeps getting better.
I am not really good at talking about myself but I guess I'll give it a shot. I am laid back, honest, and too sarcastic for my own good most of the time. I have this real problem where I laugh inappropriately at things that people take way too seriously. I am trying to get that checked out. I really enjoy my job and work hard at it, but Friday afternoon is my favorite part of the work week. I am really passionate about sports, which has led my friends and family to pick up all the throw able objects before a Texans game comes on. I really enjoy being social, and live around some of the best friends I could have imagined meeting. I love to travel, I guess part of the allure of being a pilot. I also am really open to new things and experiences , and love learning something new every day. There is way too much to life and the world and I want to see it all.
As far as who I am looking for... I guess I really don't have a list.
Date a boy from California, United States. I'm just trying to live the dream. I think right now I'm generally succeeding...but I could use a partner in crime!
I'm from Ohio originally, spent some time in Virginia for undergrad... now I'm out here checking out what the West Coast is all about. So far I really haven't found much to complain about in the land of 70/sunny, surfing and taco effin' Tuesday. Right now I'm working on my Ph.D. in earthquake engineering at UCSD. Then its on to designing buildings and one day teaching others how to save the world from earthquakes.
When I'm not pretending to enjoy my research I like to stay as active as possible, and spend as much time as possible outdoors! My current obsessions include rock climbing (I try to go to the gym 3 or 4 nights a week), surfing (whenever the waves are good), hiking and backpacking.
My demands are simple. I'm looking for someone who is smart, funny, and whose perfect Saturday sounds something like this:
Waking up early and driving out to the desert for an all-day hike.
Rocking out the entire ride (with the top down of course).
Running out of water and potentially getting lost (but finding our way back eventually).
Laughing about getting lost and rocking out the entire ride home.
Taking a quick shower and getting 'dressed up' (a relative term here).
Dinner and wine.
Getting up on Sunday and doing it all again.
Meet men and women from California, United States. I am a very open-minded person who is fun-loving and sensitive to surroundings. I wish my date to be similar! SOmeone who can take in the beauty around, make it more beautiful if possible and enjoy life. Who knows what is going to happen tomorrow, so lets not waste this evening :)
Date someone special from California, United States. New to San Diego and am thinking I'll enjoy it.
I grew up in the twin cities area of Minnesota, which is where I went to college as well. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and anything dealing with it. Travel is also at the top of my list of favorites, which should work well with my new job.
Meet people from California, United States. My name is Mike and I am originally from Las Vegas. I came out to San Diego for college and now I can't imagine leaving. I'm a very friendly, easy-going guy and I love meeting new people. I enjoy traveling, and like to head up to Big Bear or try somewhere new on the weekends. Basically I'm looking for a girl who enjoys life and wants to check out all the fun things it has to offer with me. I like to go to concerts, try new restaurants, and am a pretty big movie buff. Feel free to send me a message if you want to know more.
Date a boy from La Jolla, United States. Describe myself and my ideal person in 4000 characters? Thats impossible for me and I believe impossible for everyone else. However, in the spirit of things, I'll say some of the things everyone should know about me. People who know me would say I'm passionate, caring, and somewhat sarcastic. I love to experience life, and with that am looking for someone who wants to live life, not just sit and watch it go by. I definitely want a family and desire to be a family man. I recently moved across the country, away from family and friends, for work and because I needed a new adventure. I love to just pick up and go somewhere, hate posed pictures, and believe vacations should not be planned once you get there. I am strong in my beliefs yet am always open to talk to someone with opposing views. I definitely have religious beliefs but believe they are best explored through honest conversation. I don't believe I can be pigeon holed into a set mold and don't believe anyone else can either. I love to watch and play sports, yet love the arts too. I can defiantly go out to a bar for a few drinks with friends yet can sit and read a book with a glass of wine. Like most people, I get into an exercise routine with vigor, only to let up 5 weeks later. I used to run an awful lot, now I like to jog and do more centering stuff like yoga. However, I believe if you are going to run, it should be done outside, not inside on a treadmill. Having grown up in Oklahoma, I do believe in being a gentleman. Am a sarcastic guy who tries to be funny, emphasis on try. Being in the profession I'm in if you want a pic, i'll email. If this sounds like someone you would like to met, then lets get together. No matter what, good luck to everyone in finding who they want.
Meet someone special from United States. Hi! I am a young professional looking for an attractive, educated, caring and affectionate woman. I am intelligent, caring, a gentleman (or so I've been told :), active and physically fit. I enjoy going to the gym and swimming. Since women on this site likely get lots of messages, I'll let you screen me first and if I tweak your interest, send me a message! Thanks.
Date people from United States. Hey there. I'm simple guy. I'm on this thing so that I can find love in the right place. I was told girls on this site are better quality than the ones who go to bars and nightclubs. I don't like smokers.
Meet men and women from United States. I'm a hard-working yet laid-back kind of guy. People say that I only open my mouth to be sarcastic or funny (with varying degrees of success). I enjoy intelligent conversation, but I don't take myself too seriously.
I hail from a small California mining town, and came to San Diego to pursue my engineering career. While I still carry a bias towards the small-town lifestyle, I am slowly starting to adapt to the metropolitan life. When I retire I hope to move quieter (but not boring) place. In the meantime, I couldn't be happier with where I live and what I do for a living. It's hard to not like San Diego!
On the weekends, I like to go for a hike/run, or try a new restaurant or activity. When I'm alone, I often end up watching movies or playing games (or other nerdly activities). I'm trying to learn how to cook, because I have all of these mysterious kitchen appliances that look like they've never been used. It's tough going, so maybe you can help me out with that ;).
Surprisingly, I'm looking for someone who is smart, hard-working, and somewhat laid-back. If this describes you, hit me up and we'll meet.
Date a man from United States. I see it. I can see it in you. I see you. You have the way of a person who knows there is something more and you can laugh at the superficial ways we all scratch the surface in our day to day. And sometimes its annoying…to be bombarded by all the sleeping people unconsciously bantering about with their politeness. I don’t want polite…I want alive! I want awake and want to embrace it all. I want to scream at the storm then dive right into the waves. Sand in my ears and water in my nose. An experience of life.
Meet a soulmate from United States. Just checking this out for now. I really don't have a preference and am always amazed at the variety of people I am attracted to! Other than that just be laid back and open to new experiences...Also not a huge fan of republicans.
