Last October I was lucky enough to spend a month in Buenos Aires__ a great city__ the people are charming, vital and full of energy as well as being extremely attractive and friendly. I am tri-lingual (English, French, Spanish) so I was able to communicate with the Portenos.
Read a lot of stories by Canadian female writers, also have read a number of East Indian writers__always am interested in learning about other cultures. I was greatly moved by Three Cups of Tea; non-fiction about a Bay Area man who after climbing in Northern Pakistan, returns to build schools. I love to listen to classical music: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Handel and I also love jazz which I am less knowledgeable about.
I enjoy martinis, good wine and Champagne and I always enjoy well-prepared healthy foods of diverse nationalities.

Well here I am, and I'm probably a little nervous. Which is unusual since I've been in the public for a long time.
My parents were both in show business, in Chicago, Profession Musicians, and I was the only one of the their 3 children to take on the same business. Except I was a professional dancer. I received most of my training in the Chicago area, and continued after we moved to Los Angeles. (Westchester). I started my career at the age of 18 in Las Vegas, at the Sahara Hotel and ended my career at the age of 24. I was a Chorus Line dancer. But I never had so
much fun in my life. I worked with all the fabulous
stars of that era. I have many stories I could tell.
There really is a lot to me. I'm a very nice person.
I think I'm smart, and many people have told me so. (Only kidding). I love to do many things and
don't have the time to do what I want as I still
have to work. Although I love what I'm doing now.
I'm tall, 5'7". Pretty slender (134 lbs.), with green eyes, and short blonde hair. I look and act many years younger than I am, as I have a ton of energy.
I was married twice and have 1 daughter who is married and lives in Houston. My Mother, passed away last year at 102 years old. There is longevity in my family.
I love to work out. I have an elliptical and treadmill in my office and work out almost every day. I guess I get this discipline from my dancing.

Date a soulmate from Indian Wells, United States. I've been alone over 17 years and I am really not lonely, but think a nice man in my life would be a plus! To be honest, I don't know if I really want someone in my life 24/7......At this point, I think I'd prefer someone who is content to live in his house, me in mine, with frequent visits back and forth.....I really do enjoy my privacy , and I'm hoping to meet someone who also doesn't feel the need to be joined at the hip. The man who might spark my interest would be very self confident and successful and may still be working. If he's retired, I hope he has lots of his own interests and doesn't think following me to the grocery store would be fun! Doing things together and having similar interests is important, but I also believe it's healthy to have separate interests. Although I sold my business several years ago, I still am self employed and love what I do. I am financially independent. I keep myself fit by daily exercise and yoga.. A perfect day is one when I can putter in my garden and not have to put my "face on". Chemistry is important to me, but I've pretty much given up on finding that again!I am "turned off" by men with hairpieces, bad comb-overs and white patent leather shoes with matching white belts and a chest full of chains! Although I only have one cat, I am suspicious of someone who does not like animals. I seem to have settled into a comfortable "rut" of being single and I suppose it will take someone special to push me out of it. In the meantime, a "special friend" for movies etc. could be fun, even if it is not a "romance". And oh yes.....finding someone who can still drive at night would be a definate plus!!
I should also say that I believe the man I meet and relate to should live in the Coachella Valley - between Palm Springs and Indio areas.....it just doesn't make sense at "our age" to be attempting a long distance relationship.....I'd not be comfortable with a date that then had to spend 2 hours on the freeway heading back to his home. Let's keep it simple.
And one more thing.....the three pictures (one with son, one with daughter and one with sister) are recent...taken Sept. 2011.....the profile picture is 6 years old.....no highschool year book ones but can't find one of "just me" taken recently.
