Date someone special from California, United States. Hi, thanks for checking my profile. I an a "Native" California, growing up in the East Bay. In 1970, I decided to "leave home" (about time, I was 23), and go to Hawaii. I actually went on a "singles tour"... after the tour was over I decided that I wanted to stay there (Oahu) and so, I did! I was pretty much on my own, and later met some people through the YMCA, where I was staying. I met my husband there (Mainlander). I came back to California in 1984 (after divorce) because I felt there was more opportunities for me here. I am happy here in the Bay Area, and there are so many things to do here. I like that you can go to different areas and have fun almost anywhere. I like being by the ocean, so Monterey is a favorite place, and Lake Tahoe is great, too. Even San Francisco for the day is fun, to a museum, or Golden Gate Park, a good restaurant and just exploring around. I also just like to go hear live music, and like most kinds, especially jazz and/or classical. I also just wouldn't mind staying home, and relaxing with a nice dinner and movie.... nothing fancy, but cozy. I'm a pretty decent cook, and hope you'd have a "well-rounded" healthy appetite (like veggies, too). I am fairly active in my church (non-denominational) and sing in their choir (we're contemporary) and enjoy performing very much. I like the feeling I am connecting with people through my singing. By the way, although I loved Hawaii, there are other places I'd like to go someday.... I'd love to go to Greece and possibly, Paris (?) someday... and the British Isles. I went to Germany in 1997, first and only time to Europe, and was a very interesting trip. Thanks for your taking time to check out my profile.My ideal match would be a fun-loving.. kind and aware, too. someone who is basically happy with his life, spontaneous, but also puts some thought into what activities we could enjoy together. Someone who is aware of other parts of my life, including other friends and/or family, as well as his own family/friends. Me? I gave the cat a bath and listened to her howl for about 10 minutes. Tried to Dry her without getting clawed. When she is all wet she is so skinny and long. I looked into her eyes and tried to tell her how pretty she is but she just wanted to jump and run away and lick herself.
Will probably wash my car tomorrow, or the next day wash her at least twice a year - whether she needs it or not. She's my silver BELLE. We don't drive as much as we used to, most of the dirt on her is from sitting still and collecting DUST!
Looking for 1-"ACTIVE, CREATIVE THINKING" man with a FUN SENSE OF HUMOR.. NOT BORING, likes sports. Some One who will tell a funny joke and start laughing until he is tearing up and laughing so hard he cannot finish to the punch line. Dancing is a MUST even if it is in the kitchen. Hopefully you will not drive likeyou are the only 'person' and everyone else is a AH just getting in your way. But the I hope you drive better than you putt.
Try to listen to me 'sing' in the car without turningt the music to the highest level or telling me those are not the right lyrics to song (jk). and takes over "my song". A happy man who will tell me IT FEELS GOOD when I put my cold feet on him in the middle of winter and loves to have the window open all year long, unless the neighbors dog is barking. Someone who is constantly surprised by the little things I do and all you can say is "Why - I oughta" and catch nme but please don't tickle me.. I give up easily. Love to laugh, local travel and make everyday a good one from the time you open your eyes and I open mine and say "who are you". Gotta love every thing every day and "don't forget to bring your Smile!

My favorite song is Dancing in the Moonlight, favorite line, "you can't dance and stay uptight". The only games I play are Board Games. Am not looking for a date or dating.
