Date someone special from California, United States. Wow ... How do you really talk about yourself without getting egotistical or to the other end of the spectrum? In a nutshell I am a real person who loves the lord. Not that I am perfect and able to bridle the whole body, I still stumble daily in my walk but well only Christ was perfect, we all fall short in some way dont we?
I am a faithful and honest sometimes brutally honest person (but said from a place of love) so being faithful and honest are a must. A sense of humor is a good thing as well. I am not looking around for the perfect match, for I am far from perfect, there is that honesty thing again... but I am well into making friends first, then see what happens. Initial contact can be as simple as Starbucks or Jamba Juice or as silly as miniature golf. No real pressure of a dinner or a first date is needed. Both people should be comfortable in chosing an activity.
A very smart individual will figure out how to do simply by using my cheesy screen name if they can read "between the lines" and see the pattern of what is in quotation marks.
I am going to be honest about one thing up front. I was in a very long term relationship, 16 years, and was almost sad to leave only because the kids. There was not much of a relationship for the last 5 years of what was a marriage that was doomed from the start it seems. I have no anger issues or bitterness issues to get over. There are no feelings towards her but a mutual love of our children. I do not ever see myself in a relationship with her again. "gee" It was a very one sided relationship, I gave and she took with nothing ever returned. As far as I am concerned it is a non issue so please don't worry about the ex thing she is not psycho so nothing to fear there. Now with that being said on to the rest....
I am not a vain person "male" and beauty comes from within a person so looks are not really that important to me. How a person looks inside is much more important. It is also important that they love themself for you can not freely give of what you do not possess. Not that I am homely or anything I am HWP and easy on the eyes, I'm no Brad Pitt nor am I Joe Peschi. I don't expect you to be Cindy Crawford nor Rosanne Barr. I feel everybody is beautiful in their own way wether it's looks or talent or just amazing personality.
I am looking to find an equally yoked individual, I am not out to change anybody, I would just prefer to be with a believer. Not that it is a deal breaker by any means but I am very active in my church ministries and it may not fit the lifestyle of a non believing individual.
I am a great talker and will talk your ear off but getting that down on paper is another thing so this is it for now and I will update again soon.
I am in no hurry or desperate to find a mate, the Lord knows his plans for me and when the right person comes along we both will know.
