I have an often cold nose and a good sense of smell. But I’m pretty sure those are the only characteristics I share with a golden retriever. Oh wait – we’re both loyal. And friendly. And have great hair.
Seeing live music is a passion of mine, and living in Fairfax, I get to indulge that need fairly often. I like many types of music, though IРІР‚в„ўm probably overly fond of the Beatles and Tom Petty.
IРІР‚в„ўm not much of a cook, but do appreciate good food and eat organic as much as possible. But my kids know how to pick up the phone for dinner.
I love adventure and travel. I took my kids back to their birth places in China and Taiwan in 2010. That was my last big trip. I'd love to do more international travel, and travel in the American west. I've now lived in the Bay Area longer than anywhere else. It's pretty great out here - the people, the weather, the outdoor lifestyle, the awe-inspiring beauty. I'm well-travelled through much of the U.S. (I have family in Seattle, New England and the south). But I still haven't seen (and would like to go to): Glacier Nat'l Park, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Alaska, Ashland, OR and Santa Fe. I'm also interested in doing more international travel.
A few thoughts about my guy:
You have an easy smile and use it often. We make each other laugh. A lot. Life is full of serious stuff, but having fun is the order of the day when weРІР‚в„ўre together. And fun can be just appreciating a beautiful day, and going out for breakfast and a hike in Marin. Heading out to hear some live music at night. Enjoying each otherРІР‚в„ўs company. You are generous with your time to your community, friends and family. You have a big heart. I sure hope you enjoy kissing as much I do.
You gotta be cool with kids (I have 2 teenaged boys). And understand that as a mom who has her kids full-time and works Mon-Fri, I don’t have tons of free time. But know that I really look forward to seeing you on the weekend – and hopefully a date night or two during the week.

My life has been a healthy mixture of the conventional and the not so. I still have a fondness in my heart for counter-culture values while having a very strong capacity to thrive in the world. My spiritual life is very important to me, not the dogma but the direct felt experience of the deeper mystery. I practice both stillness and movement through meditation, yoga and conscious dance (mostly 5Rhythms).

3. How about making our way down the coast of Chile towards the southern tip?
4. And while we're there, let's hop over to Iguazu Falls to hear the thundering roar of the waterfalls.
5. Drifting down the Nile in a faluka boat, stopping here and there to explore ancient ruins.
6. How about spending time with the humpbacks and their babies as they sit like torpedos along the continental shelf off the coast of Molakai?
7. How about exploring Loretto (Baja) as decide whether we want to kayak, go hiking, or just sit on the veranda and watch the clouds sail by.
Perhaps we can begin closer to home with:
1. A weekend trip to Ashland, where we can easily go hiking, to a great restaurant, and on see great theatre, and stroll back to a small quaint hotel all without getting in a car.
2. How about a road trip up the coast, coming across the little town of Trinidad before we find a place to tuck in for the night.
3. How about hiking to see the condors as they soar just overhead in the Pinnacles?
4. How about skiing a set of beautiful S turns in the thigh deep powder of Alta's pristine slopes to return to the warmth of a mountain side lodge , fire alight and warm drinks waiting?
Of course, there is the laundry, bills to be paid, and all that. Yet, wouldn't it be a lot more fun to know you are loved, cared for, and cherished all the while you are going about your daily life?

You are fit, laugh easily, possess a sunny temperament, love to learn, compassionate, have a quick and curious mind, truthful, honest .....Oh, and of course, adventursome and know how to initiate and plan fun activities. Meet people from California, United States. I found a black bird unable to fly sitting in the middle of the road the other day, and took it to Wild Care, a lovely sanctuary for injured wild animals. I am touched and inspired by this little refuge in San Rafael that offers care, and values the wild creatures we share this planet with. I like to imagine kindness and sensitivity as a base from which I aspire to live.
I have two sons, one is in his second year of college, the other is just beginning graduate school. Being a mom is an ongoing delight, worry, and a path of absolute love.
