On Sundays, I usually spend time with my mother. She is 89 and I owe her mylife. I take her to she my brother. He recieved a brain injury when he was 19, is partially paralyzed, blind, and lost a leg from diabetes. We usually have lunch at the care home.
I just moved back to El Dorado Hills, though I have lived the last 4 1/2 years in Pacific Grove. Love the Monterey Bay area and coast around Big Sur.

I love going out to dinner enjoying Mexican, Italian and California cuisine. I like traveling to San Francisco to shop, dine, go to the theatre, and take in a Giants baseball game. Tahoe, the Wine country, and the coast are also favorite spots. I’ve traveled to Europe and one day would like to return but New Zealand is the place I’d like to visit most. I have been semi-retired for a number of years, exploring what hopefully is the prime of my life, though as time passes, it is increasingly difficult to ignore, even when subtle, the undeniable effects of advancing age. At this point I would like to believe that relationships can be approached in any manner which genuinely works for each participant, though establishing a comfortable balance between autonomy and security can sometimes prove challenging. In a partner I value intelligence, honesty, warmth, sensitivity, a gentle softness, self-pride, adventurousness, romanticism, sensuousness, and a strong, active sense of humor. I am particularly delighted by and marvel at the magic created when a number of these traits playfully combine. With the advantage of life experiences, I would like to believe I have developed a vast reservoir of wisdom and, to a degree, I have but there is still much I fail to completely understand and, thus, maintain my ability to occasionally transform into a complete idiot! I like my life and the freedom of everyday choices it allows; consequently, I am not looking to "dependently" become joined at-the-hip with anyone. Instead I seek a special partner in crime, who for whatever mysterious reasons attracts me and vice-versa, with whom to create and share quality time--time which by design would hopefully involve adventure, discovery, closeness and abundant amounts of fun and laughter. As I review my words, I am struck by their hint of anticipated limitations. The "wild card" would seem to be the lack of predictability of what mysterious and wondrous directions the human heart may actually wish to travel once two people open themselves to one another--thereby suggesting that all outcomes are potentially possible.
