I have my bachelor's degree in English and have been a musician for most of my life. I have a great appreciation for storytelling (that's the English/communication student in me talking). I'm totally a word nerd -- seriously, I own a T-shirt that says "I love compound modifiers." Musicals, laughter and my little sister mean the world to me. I was once described as Broadway being the soundtrack of my life. I have two jobs, one part-time and one full-time, but I truly believe it is both possible and important to make time for those you do or could care about.
I'm looking for a gentleman, someone at least mildly outgoing, a strong Christian (I'm sorry, but I don't believe it's the same thing as Catholic or LDS), who likes to plan dates as much as I do and isn't afraid to take the lead. Oh, and please smell nice :)
I'm quirky: I like to make chocolate chip cookies when it rains; my favorite time of the day is when I put on my face moisturizer; my favorite things are Christmas lights, fireworks, starry nights, rain and Slurpees; I love surprises; I once MADE my best friend ride my beach cruiser bicycle when she was having a bad day.
If I could have any job in the world, I would probably choose from: handwriting analyst, genetics, on the creative team for Crayola or Hallmark, work with family radio drama "Adventures in Odyssey," or be a movie musician like for soundtracks.
My faults: I sleep with too many pillows; I don't sleep enough; I struggle with my weight; I try not to swear but sometimes it's inevitable, like when I cut or burn myself at my part-time job (fast food); I fawn over my cat way too much; I can't spell vacuum without looking it up; I probably sing too loudly in the shower; I own all seven seasons of "Dukes of Hazzard"; I grew up with two brothers, so "If you don't eat fast, you don't get seconds" is ingrained in me. Seriously though, I'm far from perfect but this is hardly the place to discuss those.
