My name is Mike. I am confident, considerate, selfless person. I know what I want in life, but also enjoy the unexpected. I am driven by challenges and follow my gut instinct. I learn from my mistakes and move on. I studied Architecture/Landscape Architecture in college. I now am a Ski Resort Designer/Developer. I have been fortunate to design ski resorts around the world. A recent article in Denver's 5280 Magazine described me as a young John Slattery. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. If anyone is interested in the article, search "Last Resort" on 5280 website. I live just outside of Vail in Edwards. I love the Colorado Mountains well as the city life. I find myself in Denver frequently for work and play. I moved to the Vail Valley in 1994. I love spending time in the outdoors. I also like to travel and experience other cultures. I am looking to meet someone who is fun, loving, romantic, and shares the same values in life. I appreciate the little things in life.
I was born and raised in a small town in Arkansas, so I have a little bit of a Southern Gentleman inside of me, without the accent except maybe when I have a drink. :). I am a handyman around the house if thats important. I am very happy with my life. I have three beautiful childrene ages of 4, 6, and 8 which spend 40% of the time with me. I take my responsibilities serious, but I relax and enjoy life as well.

Date men and women from Edwards, United States. Where to begin... I guess I'm looking for a woman who's quick to laugh and slow to anger, like me, with whom I can share life's ups and downs. Someone with little-to-no time for d-r-a-m-a but rather interested in taking one day at a time - planning for the future, of course- with the ability to laugh even when life kicks you in the face. Ideally, I will de happiest with a warm, witty, confident, funny and intelligent woman with a sense of humor, unafraid to speak her mind, an active lifestyle (but also able to slow down, smell the roses and relax by the tv at times) and a stable job.
I speak my mind, have strong liberal opinions on most social and political issues, generally do not beat around the bushes but also rarely miss an opportunity to laugh, have fun or say something inappropriate to crack people up.
I think it's redundant, but I live in Colorado because of the active lifestyle we all enjoy, the fresh air, unbeatable summers, rushing rivers, crisp winters, starry nights, snow and EVERY other reason why we ALL call CO our home. If i'm not working, rafting, biking or enjoying the outdoors, I'm proud to admit that i'm just as happy being at home; cooking, playing with my dog, strumming my guitar or just relaxing.
This is weird and living in the small valley that we do, I can already picture you judging me as you recognize me around town. Oh well. I give you permission to blatantly call me out if you do recognize me..... I know I will...

I was a ski bum here in '94 and always wanted to return to the Vail Valley, with no kids or a wife I made the move last year and am loving it. I have a passion for making pottery, doing home projects, Michigan football, the outdoors, dogs(animal lover in general) and people. It's taken me 40 years, but I now realize the benefit of balance, not to say that I've mastered that aspect of my life, I can say for sure that it's not always about me, and I get more satisfaction out of doing for others. New adds to my bucket list are Angola and Libya, this year I've been to Vienna, Frankfurt, Dublin, Amsterdam and no, I'm not in the airline industry, that would be too easy, my appetite for international travel seems to be increasing as I get older, I don't know if that's a good thing. I love to ski powder and trees, play golf in spectacular places, ride my Triumph along narrow twisty roads and bicycle (road & mountain) in equally spectacularly gorgeous parts of the world, I do a handful of Centuries every summer, sometimes a double Century. I have a bucket list of things I want to try and that never seems to be emptying either. My top priority is to assure that my two children become the best citizens of the world that they can be, have half the hangups that were imparted on to me, turn their dreams into reality and fear nothing.
