Date a man from Cupertino, United States. After achieving many of my goals as planned for my life: came to US, get a graduate degree, find the woman i love, get married, have kids, have successful professional life with decent income,.... Only one thing that happened was not in my plan - divorce.
4 years had passed, i enjoyed the freedom even though I have to take care my boys. But I started to feel there are something missing.
I work hard but also want to keep my private life full of different activities. I have many hobbies. I am quite athletic, I love to try all sorts of outdoor activities. I am a very good photographer and like travel to different places with my camera equipments and take good pictures. I am also a very good remote control airplane pilot and build then fly my RC airplane/helicopters during weekend often, I also picked back up my love to ride motorcycle 4 years back. I had been doing long trip with one of my motorcycle buddy. Had been to Yellow Stone, Jasper National Park in Canada. This year I just finished a 3,500 miles trip in SouthWest states and visited about a dozen National/State Parks.
I came from Taiwan, after received my PhD in US, most of the time, I stay in bay area. Now I felt I am not lacking of anything except a good, stable relationship which I can trust. I am hoping to find someone who originally came from Taiwan or China, has similar background and value the same important things of life and we can share each other's life together. If I can't find the right one, I think I would rather stay as-is, which is not bad but sometime felt something is missing... But hey, Life is good ! live hard!
Meet a soulmate from United States. OK let’s break this thing down! A great loving relationship to me would include Companionship, Trust, Chemistry, Acceptance, Respect, and Shared values.
Companionship is a true friend, a confidant, you partner in life, the single person in the world who is your preferred company.
Trust is earned by good behavior, being honest and having integrity. Honesty, I simply tell the truth, I’m 50, my photos are current, WYSIWYG, and what you read is what you get. Integrity means when given the opportunity to cheat, lie or steal you don’t. You choose to behave in a virtuous manner.
Chemistry, an almost indescribable hit or miss feeling that we desire at the core of our soul. A physical, visceral, carnal, attraction only felt face to face. The look, the sound, the smell, the touch that gives us a rush we cannot ignore.
Acceptance, I take you for who you are, I unwrap the gift that is you, and love you as you are at this moment, in this moment, a real person with foibles, flaws, and imperfections. I cherish our differences.
Respect, never demeaned, condescended to or dismissed. We see each other as equal partners and individuals. Greater together than the sum of our parts. We nurture and heal each other, never diminish, especially when conflict arises.
Shared Values, chemistry gets us in trouble without shared values. Do you share some of my values? Security, Fun, Creativity, Sexuality, Patience, Mindfulness, Fitness, Intimacy, Family, Simplicity, Adventure, Flexibility, Kindness, Resourcefulness, and Intelligence.
OK throw everything I just said out the window! Communication is the thing!! I also spend a lot of time outdoors biking, with my kids and am pretty mainstream although I have no TV(time waster!).
OK now the mundane stuff:
An easygoing middle aged man with kids! Are you still with me? No drinking, no drugs and no drama! No Fun? I can't believe you are still here. Back on my bicycle, heating it up before I get too old. I enjoy the discovery of small things in life and the challenge of exploring the complex. Work hard and play hard! No, I work hard and recover! I think what people do with their time reflects their values. I spend a lot of time with my children(50%), family and friends. Visiting my family is always an exceptional meal. Someone new will bring new things to do and places to go. I am looking for someone to share and enjoy time together. How about a bike ride from Coast to Coast, can you get 65 days off work this summer 2012 or 2013? Just a dream of mine I'm trying to make into a reality! I am looking for a partner to enjoy life with! To go the distance two people need companionship, trust, chemistry, acceptance, respect and shared values. I’m looking for a monogamous long term gig! I am far from perfect, but feel NICE goes a very long way. It boils down to attitude, behavior and chemistry. My kids are not teenagers yet, just a little FYI!!! Glad you made it to the end.

Meet single man from Cupertino, United States. I'm rebuilding my life. Way past any and all midlife crises, I am integral and confident. My daughter takes the highest priority in my life, yet I want a whole family some day. I have all the qualities of a grown-up man, but the boy in me still takes me out for adventures.
Date a man from California, United States. I'm not much of a writer; I prefer to communicate verbally, in person if possible. But that's not possible right now, so I'll do my best in writing. I'm a part-time dad; I have one teenager at home with me every other week, the other one is off to college and back for summers. They are a huge part of my life, and I'm looking for someone that is comfortable with that. I'm not looking for help with them, just acceptance. I am passionate about my job, I give it my best. I value a balanced life, but I understand that sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get things done. I believe life is often challenging, although always rich with rewards. I understand you have to work through the challenges to reap the rewards. I have a lot of interests, but learning is the greatest of them all. I like to travel, visit different cultures and see the World from a different perspective, if such a thing is possible. I have lived extensively abroad, and value the lessons I've learned from the experience. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, sailing, skiing, snowboarding, camping or just hanging out at the beach. I want to learn how to surf next, maybe this summer. I enjoy cooking for friends and family. Some of my friends call me "Chef" because I like to cook gourmet food. In my very small way I try to make the World a better place, one small random act of kindness at a time. Hopefully it starts a chain reaction. I enjoy the arts and music, and I host a concert at my house each month. I usually get about 30 to 40 people at the concerts. I workout regularly and also enjoy dancing, it would be nice if we could share some of these interests together. I'm looking for someone that I can accept and love for who they are, and that is willing to work with me to make the relationship work.
Some updates - I haven't held a concert in over 2 years. A new job and 4 remodelling projects at home put a dent into that activity. The pictures are ones I like. Some are very recent, some from the last couple of years. The crazy hair picture is what happens when I let my daughter choose my Halloween costume. We both had fun with it. She had to put the make-up on for me, I was poking my eyes out trying. The most recent picture is the one in a Tux. My first Tux ever, and I loved it. We all dressed up to celebrate this last New Years.
Meet a man from California, United States. Loyal; watching out after those within my circle; few friends but numerous aquaintances; communicator; sexual; social but not excessive; doesn't mind hanging out with one another; likes cruising; scuba diving or willing to try it; fly fishing or willing to try it out; river rafting; wine tasting; dining out but prefers to cook together.
Date single man from California, United States. I'm somewhat old fashioned. I love the idea of the man wooing and romancing a lady, opening doors for her, pulling out her chair, walking on the 'carriage' side of the sidewalk, etc., being a gentleman. I'm very much into romance and chivalry. I also really value independence and intelligence, and I want an equal that still appreciates some of the traditional things our parents were raised with.
Let's see, what else can I tell you... Well, I'm generally considered a nice guy, I'm very open and friendly, social, and fun at parties. I know tons of jokes. ;)
I'm warm and loving, but independent too. I like to get out and do things, be active, ride the bike, run, hike, etc. I joined Team in Training in 2010, and I've done three seasons with them on the triathlon team raising money for blood cancer research. It's been a blast training with them for 2 half ironmans, but it's also a great cause. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about trying it.
But when the time comes I'm good at relaxing. Too many people don't know how to de-stress and unwind, I think, but that's not me. I grew up in Hawaii, so mellow is something I know how to do. A nice glass of wine and thou, as they say.... ;)
I'm a bit of a goofball at times, don't mind being silly if the situation calls for it. Life is short and I try to have a good balance of fun and work.
I love to laugh, a good sense of humor is important I think.
I like classic rock, RB, blues, jazz, slack key, as well as modern stuff (my daughter's influence). I really like live music, going to concerts, clubs, etc., and you might even see me out on the dance floor!
I'd love to chat further, if you're interested. Drop me a line!
Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

Meet people from California, United States. One of my goals in life is to see all the continents. I really like to travel and see how the rest of the world lives. My travels right now have not gone that far, they will soon starting this fall. I am tossing around the idea of doing the Amazing Race. I have to find that perfect partner to do this competitive world travel marathon and then be that lucky pick among the thousand other entrants. It would be a life experince to do this.
I am always trying to better myself at all aspects of my life. Be a better friend, a better mate, a better brother and a better individual. I have found as I have become older that I am ok with being me. I am a one person man and expect the same out of my partner. No games, no lies. I am looking for that special person that is ok with herself, knows how to communicate both good and bad, enjoys different aves. of life. Willing to do something different, expressive and definitly enjoys all the pluses of intimacy. Open monagamously with their partner. I have told myself that she has to be a very conscious person on her looks, being in shape, smart and pretty. I used to do a sliding scale but I will not do that anymore. It is what I am used to. She has to be a good, honest, thoughtful person.
Date single man from California, United States. I grew up in Ohio, in a small rural town with mid-western values. Music was an important part of my childhood, playing in many bands as a drummer and jazz percussionist. I started my first business while still in High School and have been an entrepreneur ever since.
I have a professional hypnotherapy practice, give lectures and seminars, just wrote a book being published, presently helping a swimmer prepare for the London Olympics.
I am a DIE HARD ROMANTIC, Pics are current. You can count-on any commitment I make. I believe that the key to a LTR is great communication with lots of affection..
Looking for an attractive, intelligent and confident woman, that wants a long term relationship. It would be wonderful to meet someone with whom that I can share ideas, great and not so great moments, discoveries in cuisine, movies, music, art, exploring new places.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I've raised two remarkable children. Coached a score more at girl's fastpitch softball (can you say Stockton in July?). Been swept along in the Amazing Journey that is Apple, Inc. Mow my own lawn and build fine furniture. Bebop is the music of my soul, looking for someone whose spirit responds that way too. If you're straightforward, grounded, secure on your own life path, eager to share your enthusiasms, then I'd be interested in getting to know you. And any children you bring to the mix too!
I'm kind, compassionate, stable and successful, family oriented, hard working (see above re: kids, dogs, chickens), and according to some friends wickedly funny and just a bit goofy.
I've reached an amicable, cooperative dissolution with my ex-spouse through mediation (David M. Esq. is a mensch). The judge signed off off on (ahem) April 1. With no "heartbreak to mend" or "emotional void to fill" I'm looking forward, eagerly even, to what comes next for me.
