I told them I saw a good one recently (Notebook) that I enjoyed very much (they’re few and far between) for which they yawned and said “just another run of the mill chick flick”…ha!...a good commentary on how many I’ve seen…and our different perspectives: them still very much immersed in the pop culture and really just getting started w/ their adult lives, and myself farther down the road having recently experienced my father pass thru Alzheimer’s and now longing for another kind, loving and passionate relationship.
Now that the kids are grown and out the door I find my work more interesting and challenging than ever and enjoy it very much. For vacations enjoy mixing in lots of physical activity w/ what my travel buddy and I call "adventure" travel. The last few years having hiked in the Peruvian Jungle and Andes, Utah canyons, rafted and hiked the Grand Canyon and last year Glacier Nat. Monument. That said, I’d wouldn’t mind a change of pace to Cabo w/ someone special.
