Date people from Costa Mesa, United States. What to say...I am a northern California native who moved to San Diego in November of 1998 to find myself. I had never lived more than an hour away from my family...So with a job, a place to stay and $100 dollars in my pocket, I hopped in my car and began my voyage of self discovery. I have had lots of detours on my journey, but I have finally reached a place of inner knowing and strength. The ability to laugh at myself doesn't hurt either....As far as what I am looking for...I want to be someone who is my best friend. Someone that makes me laugh and someone that I can just be with. I would love to have someone that I can enjoy a work out with, someone who is spiritual, enjoys the outdoors, and who likes football, camping, art.cooking together, passion, music& tons of affection.. I would love to find someone who believes that life is an adventure and is like me looking for someone to take that ride with them. I am not looking for a casual fling, I am looking for something real. If any of this interests you drop me a line.:)
Meet someone special from Costa Mesa, United States. I was once told by a sophisticated and lovely former Texas debutant, "Darlin' you're a FLOWER of the SOUTH!" The exuberance in which she expressed this statement alone was quite frightening, you might say if she was on the ledge of a high rise at that very moment she may have just as well jumped off into the traffic below. Much to her enthusiastic approval, I thanked her, and have always remembered that moment in time until this day. Well, I was born back on the East coast in a little town in Pennsylvania and was raised for the most part in Texas. I've lived all over the U.S. and for the past 12 years have called Southern California home. I suppose I'm a "Texacalian". I quite like it here and just might stay a spell. I'm petite, my hair is it's natural color (of dark brown) my eyes are hazel and I'm all original parts...I've found that is a rarity in this area...lol. I've been told more than once I'm a "spitfire." At about 109 soaking wet I wouldn't say I'm intimidating but I certainly think I could knock out an intruder with a cast iron pan if the moment presented itself (gosh I hope the moment never presents itself.)
I am looking to meet a rare man (I've been told.) One that as well as being humble and happy also has qualities of strength, sweetness, humility and adventure ...one who knows that our lives are enriched and soar because of the people that we are blessed to have in our families, in our friendships and in our paths. We would support one another through all of the craziness of life...he would easily make me laugh and think my petite size is adorable...we would make others jealous with our "cuteness factor"....this is the man who would steal my heart and we could start our own story together....
My closest friends say I am an animal and kid magnet, funny, intelligent, resilient, cute, stylish, strong, magnanimous, sweet and they always forget my age is what it is...which I take as a compliment. I have been single, taken, engaged, proposed to (and declined) and have come out on the other side having grown through all of these changes. Relationships (of all types) honestly play such a poignant role in your life and how you grow and cope and I believe in life you have to live and not "wait." If you place your life in a holding pattern as you wait for something you so desire to happen you might miss what possibilities await you in the world. I would say dance and yoga keep me centered and fit...paddle boarding calms me...reading makes me want to read more...and sunscreen will do wonders for your skin. I revel in the "new"...experiences that change your prospective, create ideas, break boundaries, open doors in your thought processes or kick start your energy...art, history, travel, literature, live sports, writing, archeology, anything kitsch or vintage, ephemera, design, theater.
I always seem to be surrounded by much laughter, I am blessed by a tight group of friends and although they are scattered all over, a close family. I have a niece and nephew who are quite astonishing and full of life. I am very close with them and talk with my 9 year old niece everyday. I suppose it is a short time that we are here as they say and I always try to remember that "kindness is timeless." I volunteer and I try to look beyond myself to others. I most certainly have a soft spot for children and have logged many hours of volunteer work spending time with some of the most amazing young people I have ever met.
Date a woman from Costa Mesa, United States. My sense of humor allows me to tolerate the most difficult people and any uncomfortable situations.
I believe life is precious and too short to waste any time on people full of crap, so please don't take yourself too seriously. Say what you mean and mean what you say. I love my animals as my kids and hope to meet someone who loves animals as much as i do. I'm happiest when i'm outdoors, especially rollerblading on the boardwalk. I'm extremely active so if one of your favorite things to do is "watch TV", we will not be a match. I'd love to meet an active guy with a great sense of humor. If you can make me laugh, you've got a chance.
