I'm from San Diego. I enjoy being active and I enjoy the comforts of home. I'm into surfing, swimming, and running and can enjoy many other activities of course. People I've met on here say I look younger than my photos. Friends would say I'm easygoing, passionate, compassionate, sensitive, intelligent and dynamic. Sorry to hear from a few women I've spoken with over the phone or met in person who did not work out, that they met other men who lied to them about various things. Just to be clear… I have no scary substance abuse or criminal background, don't even have so much as an outstanding traffic ticket, and no surprise health issues. Overall I am very lucky. I have good health as do my children. I have caring genuine friendships, and I smile well at times. I enjoy giving on a regular basis through my Rotary Club. I am agnostic but receiving through giving is absolutely true. My business provides me with a good life. I am not rich however at times I feel very rich. The internet is a great time saver to be leveraged, and so has its place. It provides many benefits and can be a great place to meet others but it is definitely NOT a replacement. And very importantly, the web cannot screen for chemistry, which is mandatory in my book.
I am interested in meeting a woman who is comfortable with herself and her feelings. I view myself as very lucky to have my friends and family. I love to make money and I love all it buys. I think society is taught that to want lots of money is evil in many ways. It’s not. Money can buy education, health care, and it can be given as charity to starving cold children. I will say money without caring for others and being cared for makes money pretty much worthless. I enjoy a woman with a dry sense of humor, a woman who likes to be a woman, one who loves fine dining at times and Chinese food to go in front of the TV other times. My turn-offs are cheap wine, cheap penny pinchers, body builders, people who talk and never listen, tattoos, liberal democrats, tribal or nutty body piercings (ok, maybe one…ha ha), drugs, dishonesty, owners of pit bulls who swear their dog is so sweet, bubble heads (male or female), Self-entitlement personalities, laziness, excuses, super high energy 5 hours of sleep people drive me nuts (ok, I am probably jealous on this one!), excessive talkers, government waste, politics, those idiots who throw their cigarette butts out the window, ghetto blasters cars, superficial attitudes, sit-coms, and corporate greed…and that’s from a guy who owns a corporation! Ha.

I’m happy in Coronado (Mayberry West) with it’s chile cook-offs and parades, flower shows and pancake breakfasts. I’m active in our Rotary Club; time served is its own reward when it comes to reaching out. I love the water and am fortunate to be surrounded by it. I prefer Dockers or jeans and a golf shirt, but will gladly dust off the tux for a special occasion or whip out a sports jacket and look sharp with you at a dinner party.
I can be silly. I sing in the shower, laugh at "grunion hunters", enjoy hot coffee with conversation or a smooth cabernet, though I'm not much of a drinker. I'm a guy. I do guy "'stuff" but I know how to treat a lady and express myself well. My hairline is finished receding, lol, and I tan despite SPF 30 and blue eyes. I think Kenny Chesney is cool but have classic rock roots , concerts in the park and small venues (Dave Mason at Anthology was cool), picnics and white linen restaurants . I’m into college sports (Fight On!) but do feel sorry for our Chargers and “Pads”. I’m a movie and theater fan but enjoy art walks and bumming around the countryside seeking treasure.
I think smart is sexy and love to tease and banter back-n-forth.! I don't need "Hallmark Holidays" as reminders to send flowers or surprise you; I can handle that ok myself.. You, you "get" me and appreciate lil gestures like that, my different looks and quirky smiles. You're the romantic one and we always seem to tilt our heads to the side before a kiss for no explanable reason other than it feels right. Its not Algebra, its kissing, so we get it right and practice often! My future partner is confident; she may even snorts when she laughs. I received a football scholarship to SJSU and played a couple of years and decided I loved football (maybe it was the cheerleaders?) but didn't really like school too much. Before I was a Navy diver, I worked on a cattle ranch-can you believe that! A So-Cal kid on a working cattle ranch , the Fire dept. in Lake Tahoe, Ski patrol in Tahoe- loved that! but mostly I was a commercial oilfield diver and had my own auto repossession agency- nothing like getting shot at or threatened every night. I don't miss that...the only reason I'm telling all of this is I'm getting asked these things constantly.
