Date someone special from California, United States. Well, about me...Let's start with food. What type of food you ask? I'm pretty much a fan of many types of food. Food makes me happy...food with a nice beverage?...even better. Food with friends?..the best. Nothing is better than having good friends over, sipping wine, snacking, while waiting for the delicious roast to finish resting.
Movies? My interest in movies ranges from historical pieces to Academy award winning movies such as Nacho Libre.
TV? The Travel Channel, with one of my favorite shows being Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations...It encompasses two of what I enjoy most, food and traveling.
As far as traveling, I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the U.S and have been to Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Out of those, I think my favorite was Italy- for it's landscape, architecture, and food!
I'm happy to start off a weekend by jumping on my bike and hitting the Claremont Wilderness Trail, going on walks around my neighborhood, and even the simple pleasure of strolling down to the local shops. After obtaining my bachelor's in history, my appreciation for landscapes led me to study landscape architecture.
I'm looking for a partner who shares some common interests and that I can enjoy life with.

I am very curious about why the world is the way it is; this causes me to read widely in science and politics. I hound my elected officials to get them to do something about something.

Okay being serious now - I like to think of myself as confident, fun/funny, driven, spontaneous, grounded, honest and humble. I've been told I'm a great guy with a little bit of an edge :) I love to travel and have been fortunate to have seen a few great places from Germany, Costa Rica, Panama Canal, Toronto, etc...I also love weekend getaways to the beach, Vegas or just jumping in the car and driving up the coast until we run out of gas.
I am passionate about all types of music and play guitar..I love spending time with my two daughters, going to concerts, cooking, reading, movies, comedy shows, sushi, camping and traveling to cool little towns with great hole in the wall places to eat.
