new at this, so my heart is filled with "mixed" emotions. Its extremely hard for me to write about myself, really! I grew up in the South Bay area in which my family always provided love as our foundation. This love that I've been the recepient of has transcended me through my life and has served as a great foundation in which I gladly pass on to my daughters!
I've worked in the retail industry for the past twenty some years. During that time this field of work has kept me well-grounded and humble in the way I view things. In a Management capacity, I've had the opportunity to work in different areas in the greater Los Angeles area.
Each store that I've been transfered to, I've seen alot of diversity and cultures. To this day it still fascinates me! The thing that I've learned from my experiences is that its not the "color of the skin" but instead the "texture of the heart" that makes the person special.
I currently work for a Sporting Goods store in the San Gabriel Valley. Because of the industry that I'm affiliated with, fitness is first and foremost in my daily and weekly regement. Any type of activity that includes the sun really
works for me!
My soul mate that I'm looking for must above and beyond love God, herself, and most importantly others. Communication and chemistry are big issues in the dating arena. Okay all joking aside ... most people that know me say I look no more than late thirties or early forty's I'am 57.
I'am and have been a musician ( Bass player ) since about the age of ten ( I also play regular guitar and drums ) I grew up playing in a band with David Summers .... David was the nephew of Coleen Summers .... Coleen Summers was a musician .... her stage name was .... Mary Ford .... the wife and music partner of .... Les Paul .... they made up the very ... talented and popular Duo ... of '' Les Paul and Mary Ford ''
Our band was almost signed by Warner Bros, just around the time Van Halen made it...we had some of our people invite Van Halen to have a battle of the bands with our Band ....." IZ-Real " at The Pasadena Ice House Center Stage the big room there. We know Van Halen got the invite, but they never gave us an answer back..... Our Lead Guitar Player David Summers was a prodigy, anybody that heard David play would back me up on this. We played at The Ice House quite a few times I still have about 200 original tickets for two different times that we played at The Ice house with $2.00 drink coupons printed on the tickets, these tickets are about 30 years old, and they look brand new.
During mine and david's early music years (about 7th 8th grade ) thru David and his uncle Bob Summers (record producer) I lived right next door to Bob, I met Mike Curb, Mike and his music group did the music for the movie " Kellys Heroes " with Clint Eastwood and then sometime later Mike became lieutenant Governor of Calif....when Ronald Reagan was Govenor. Well On a few different occasions, While waiting in his car, for Bob to come home.. Mike came in to my garage to talk to us and listen to our band play. I mention this only because, it is some cool history.
Now as for me as a person, A couple of years ago, 2006, I was a straight... A .... student in Medical Billing and Coding....I never got less than an .... A ... At my school, for every month someone got straight ... A's.... they would give you a very nice looking suitable for framing, " Academic Excellence " Certificate. If you were not late and did not miss a day for a entire month they would give a very nice " Perfect Attendance " Certificate. My schooling was an ....8 month course so I have .... 8 .... Academic Excellence Certificate's and ....8 Perfect Attendance Certificate's.... A couple of year's before this I was a complete ... straight.. A .. Student in Copier Rebuilding and Repair...
Also for as Me as a Person....Please note that I'am truly safe .... I do not in any way shape or form .... have a record and or rap sheet ..I used to work for a cardiologist, before you could work there you had to pass a complete background check, and I passed with no problem. You should know I'm safe.. but, abosolutely, without a doubt not boring .
Well their is so much more to say .... so if you find my story interesting ( that's my story and I'm sticking to it ) I just had to say that ... why ... I have no clue ..... - ABSOLUTELY PASSIONATE ABOUT BEING SILLY: Love to laugh and being silly (it boost creativity). Picasso was said to have quipped on his ninetieh birhday, "all my life I was trying to become a child". Can you believe that? He was trying to emulate me ;)
- FRIENDLY, KIND, OPEN-MINDED, LOYAL and with INTEGRITY: I thoroughly enjoy light-hearted interactions with people - doctors, waiters, sales clerks, folks who wait in lines along with me. My compliments are genuine and given freely when people deserve them. I have realized from a long career of working overseas that people everywhere have very similar aspirations. Years of doing poetry open-mic in a smoke-filled pub have allowed me to meet creative people from all walks of life. THIS WORLD OF OURS IS INDEED FULL OF WONDERS.
- Others have described me as INTELLIGENT, CREATIVE, FUNNY, SWEET, and that I look young and physically fit. (I usually offer to write them a big check after such outrageous understatements :). Yes, I wrote the poems here at the top and the bottom.....my apology for the crude rambling.

LESISURE
Aside from those listed in the "for fun" section, I also like: live music, dance shows, theatrical plays as well as games of basketball, baseball, etc. I enjoy visiting museums, and bookstores (for browsing and book-reading events).
For physical activities I enjoy swimming, playing basketball. tennis, walking, bicycling, Would love to try sailing and paragliding one day.
Still learning guitar, as well as attending continuing-education courses. (Have taken ballroom dancing and Argentine Tango lessons on and off for a few years. Desparately wanting a DANCING PARTNER.)

I started travelling to see the world (alone) as soon as I got the chance after college. My work had taken me to some faraway places, e. g. Tumbuctu - Mali; Hammerfest - Norway (the northern-most city in the world). South America is the only continent I haven't been to. Wish to go to: Argentina (and the southern-most city in the world), China, and want to revisit Europe (especially Italy, Spain and France). But this time, I want to go with someone special.
