I have a lot of responsibility taking care of running my business. I am trying to change that but the economy is not good so that is difficult. My daughter is 29 and my son is 22 my son is living with me and attending college. I have been divorced for 13 years now and have spent most of that time alone. My interests are varied. I enjoy photography and like taking classes, especially now that I am retired. My astronomical interests sometimes keep me up very late at night. Woodworking is fun and always comes in handy around the house (any excuse to buy a new tool). Museums are always on my agenda. I particularly like going to SF MOMA and spending a few hours taking in the exhibits, relaxing and people watching in the cafe.
Then there's the cooking, cleaning, laundry and ironing me. I'm pretty good at all of the above. I love animals and have a dog.
I like spending time with friends having coffee and conversation. Reading, walking and exploring new areas, cooking, dining out, movies, videos, museums, the zoo, music, astronomy and photography are always part of my repertoire.
I like science fiction and recently read Fahrenheit 451 and many of Michael Crichton's novels.
I enjoy the open spaces and parks we have in our region. I feel lucky to live in this beautiful area. I have a small motorhome and when I get the opportunity I enjoy camping, but will admit that having all the comforts of home makes it a lot more pleasurable, especially in winter.
