I'm a fairly normal guy who is looking for someone to share my life with. I'm a lot of fun and love to laugh and have a good time. I crack myself up sometimes! I'm always willing to try just about anything. I love to read (anything I can get my hands on) and movies. Live theater and concerts have always been a favorite activity. I have discovered my creative and artist side. I like gardening and spending time in my yard. I love to travel and exploring new things.
I'm a romantic and I don't hesitate to show my affection. I had a crazy idea that I'd like to be able to dance at my wedding - so took ballroom dance lessons and discovered that I really enjoyed it and not too bad at it. (Now I just need a wedding someday! LOL)

I'm amazed at the women I've met who are concerned with what kind of car I drive or what kind of house I have. Don't get me wrong... I do enjoy fine things in life, but it's all just "stuff" and not what is really important. I'm looking for someone who is secure with herself and enjoys being a woman. I'm a professional sculptor and am represented by galleries across the country from Hawaii to Florida. I like the outdoors, hiking, camping, mountain biking, going to the Santa Rosa Plateau or even Catalina for a kayak adventure. Idyllwild is a fun day trip with all the shops, art galleries and restaurants. I work out at least 5 times a week and hike all the local mountains, including San Jacinto, Baldy and an annual trip with friends to Mt Whitney, 14,507 feet, in the High Sierra's. I have summited Mt Whitney every year for the last 3 years. Though I wouldn't go so far as to call myself "athletic", I'm in very good shape at 5'11, 188 pounds. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipe's, including my "garbage pizza" with home made dough and meatballs from scratch. Also love "dark chocolate" :-) And yes, I'm even pretty good at washing the dishes!
I think it's important to have a strong desire to be a responsible person. In my life I like to spend some time working with my local animal rescue shelter, and in my business, I work with several environmental groups, especially sea turtle organizations.
My ideal person would be a woman who is active and keeps themselves in shape, is attractive and isn't afraid of letting her partner know what she wants. If there's no surf I'll hit the gym - and then work. (Being self-employed I can usually get away with setting my own schedule). Of course the right situation definitly lends itself to occasionally sleeping in ;-) - so sometimes the beach and the coffee just has to wait...

I am Californian born here and raised. I am a very responsible and old fashion man, yes I open doors. I have many interest and have done some wonderful things so far and want to continue. My travel has been limited but I have been to Copenhagen, Cancun, Aruba and the Dominican Republic. I love a good cigar a nice drink and a view of the ocean with warm trade wind while watching the sun set or on a boat feeling the gentle roll as the sun slips away.
I was a horse owner and enjoyed the competitive side of Team Roping and Sorting, and yes Trail riding and sunset rides out at Moss Landing are also quite nice. OK Boating, I have been skiing the rivers and lakes of California since I was a child, grew up on the Delta, and enjoyed weeks of house boating on Shasta. I want to restore an old 1970 V-drive so I can get back out on the water, a true labor of love. I have also spent time working on drag boats back in the early 80's part of my love of speed and wrenching.

So locally I love the coast from Half Moon Bay south of Big Sur, a lot of nice places to get a good meal and gaze out at the ocean.
