Date a man from California, United States. I would describe myself as very easy going, one who likes to stay active "workout at the gym, run, travel, ride my Harley." I'm looking for an active female who like to stay active, who likes to travel, take rode trips "Vegas", go to local restaurants and pubs.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. First of all, if you're thinking there must be something wrong with this guy for him to have never been married and have no children, let me assure you, you would understand when I told you. Not to worry, I don't think you will be disappointed.
A little about me now. I used to be a professional athlete until injuries ended that career. Now I have another career in which I make a very good living and would love to share that with someone special now that I'm where I want to be professionally. I have a big heart and put others needs ahead of mine. However, I will never let someone walk all over me. I know a well deserving person when I meet one. I'm very spontaneous and love to do things on a spur of the moment. One of these days, I'm going to just jump on a plane and go see the Yankees play. If you're not a Yankee fan, that's ok. Just be ready for a little sarcastic humor.
There is so much I could type here but, how well can anyone get to know somebody by reading a bunch of sentences that start with I? If I've peaked your interest and you want to know more, just let me know, I'm an open book.
Date someone special from California, United States. Very new to this so her it goes, Iam looking for a honest and smart woman to share my life with, dont want the liars or cheaters. Looking for someone who likes the outdoors anytime of the year, especially for camping out. Love to go fishing, hunting, races going out doin anything to have a good time. Have two boys and they mean absolutely everything to me, best thing ever to happen to me so far!
Meet men and women from California, United States. I'm from Orange County, but I was never an Orange County guy. I've been here for over 20 years now, so this is my home. As a web developer, I have a nerdy side, but I'm not the typical geek who spends all of his time online. When I'm out of the office, I like to get outdoors and have fun.
I don't want to be too specific about what I'm looking for in a date, because I'm not completely sure who I will click with. For now, I'm keeping an open mind.
Date people from California, United States. I guess the best way to describe myself is that I'm a contradiction in term. I'm a blue collar guy who enjoys intellectual pursuits. I dig modern art, indie movies, exotic spicy foods, but I also like swap meets and dive bars. It would be nice to meet someone I could connect with on multiple levels. I love to work out, but it's not always easy getting into the gym after a long day on a jobsite, it would be cool to meet someone who could be a workout partner, motivate each other. It would be refreshing just to meet someone who's fun and bubbly, and at the same time has a deep sincere side to them. Someone I can have a conversation on the most braindead topic, and turn around and talk about world politics, art, history, literature, film or anything that stimulates thought. I'm no genius but i think I'm wise enough to grasp one simple truth in life, nothing sexier than an intelligent woman.
Meet single man from California, United States. Can I be the millionth-and-one person to say this is so difficult?... ok.
My house is covered in fog, so summer has officially started. Or maybe it's the contrast of having just come back from the Grand Canyon and 130 degree heat. It's odd when people say the weather's cooled to 95, which I'm certain is still hot enough to bring SF life to a screeching halt. So what am I saying? I really like the city, but getting on the road is an excellent way to maintain a tan in the SF summer. I grew up jumping in the car for family road trips and really miss that. Not to say flying to some exotic foreign destination is bad, but one must admire the accessibility the bay area affords us.
When it's destination SF, I'm usually around NOPA, my neighborhood. NOPA sounds kind of ridiculous, since hipsters hadn't coined the term when I first moved here. I do like being in close proximity to Little Star pizza and all the fun watering holes, but having GG park next door is an awesome thing. I jog and bike often, and weekends are for playing volleyball or having a picnic bbq. When I lived in Nob Hill, Ft Mason and Crissy Fields were the usual. Tilden and Redwood were my East Bay haunts, too... Angel Island, Tahoe, Sonoma, Pt Reyes,.. What I'm saying is parks, hikes, bbqs, big turn on for me.
Flip side is getting a little spiffy, having a great dinner, maybe some show, a little movie. Haven't released my nerd on the dance floor in a while, perhaps last years' weddings, but that's fun, too. Just had a post-wedding party at a friend's house in Santa Cruz and had some post-bowling karaoke.. crazy! I'm always down to check out the latest at deYoung, Legion, MOMA, Academy... so easy to have a little intellectual Saturday.
Having given it much consideration, I don't think it's mandatory for a couple to sync in the area of physical exercise. Perhaps yoga its your thing, but I just can't sit in a room with a bunch of folks contorting and getting all smelly. I more than encourage you to do so, as I like a woman that enjoys staying fit, eating well, and maintaining a happy work/life balance. I attempt to do the same, but I sometimes lapse, especially if traveling for work or around the holidaze. This year was particularly bad and I'm working hard to recoup. I'm calling myself athletic and tone, but I border on slender (180lb), and that doesn't really budge no matter how many pushups or extra helpings of pie. For exercise I've enjoyed triathlon most recently, since a couple of knee issues has kept me from contact sports. My nephews still think I'm full contact and show no mercy on their uncle.
So the meat of the matter. Yes, I eat meat, you could be omni/herbi/carni, I can cook it all. I like opening a bottle of wine and making dinner. BBQ is very high on the list. Could you be convinced to try any food? I do enjoy adventurous eaters. Do you get excited waking up on a weekend morning, or day off work, to hit up the bakery for fresh bread and coffee? Maybe you're more the girl that likes a weekend in wine country, perhaps a little BnB? All good.
I like hugs, especially at the end of a hard day. Are you as good at giving back rubs as receiving them? I would settle for back scratches, but that's as low as I stoop. I'm looking for a best friend. Are you happy with who you are, where you are in life, and ready for something new and special? I totally am, and look forward to meeting you.
Date a man from United States. Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.
### placeholder for now ###
Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm searching for an intelligent, independent, adventurous, athletic, outdoorsy sort of girl who is equally at ease pursuing athletic endeavors, traveling to far flung destinations, or at a fancy dinner. (EASY to find, right? ;) I tend towards the low maintenance type of girl who worries not about how she looks, but about the current (or next) adventure. Sorry, but fake fingernail types need not apply. The right woman may not do all of the things I like to, but she must have a passion for what she does (work and play).
Me? A responsible, stable (mentally and otherwise) adult with a good career who is in close touch with his inner kid. A child's endless sense of excitement, adventure and curiosity is so energizing, so I try to emulate those qualities (minus the temper tantrums). With a love of a challenge and learning, you'll often find me practicing guitar, reading, or taking a German class. I don't relax well, so I'm usually on the move and busy. My future plans DO include settling down...but surely not settling!
My happy place is the great outdoors! I enjoy climbing (rocks and mountains) and anything else that gets me outside and keeps me active (running, hiking, volleyball, mountain biking, surfing, backpacking, snowboarding).
I've got a serious travel bug. (If you have a passport and know how to use it, even better!) Prior destinations: Europe, Africa, Australia, UK. I love the people, food, art, history, crazy stories, and mind expanding out-of-my-element feel that comes with travel. I try to pack a lot into my trips since there's so much to see and experience.
Other random bits about me... I value honesty integrity, procrastinator, recycler, can fix things, don't own a TV, will open the door for you, eat out far too often but my cooking won't kill you, bad English bugs me (they're, their, there) but will get over it, would love to live overseas someday, don't watch pro sports, facial hair comes and goes with the mood, keep a long To-Do-List, your Mom will love me!!! ;)
So, where am I in life, you ask? I'm at the point where I'd like to find what my parents had for 45 years...
So, are you the one?
Date someone special from United States. I'm a driven but easygoing guy originally from the Midwest with an active and occasionally sarcastic sense of humor. I moved out to LA from Cambridge, Mass in 1999 after finishing law and business school there. I was an investment banker for 14 years total and now do corporate finance consulting work with some of my former clients and also manage a portfolio of private investments. I love great restaurants (Italian and Japanese would top my list), movies, live music and travel (Italy, Japan and London have been among my favorite destinations thus far).
I'm definitely not into the bar/club scene and really prefer spots where we can actually hear each other and have a decent conversation. I am hoping to meet someone with similar interests and see where things go. Drop me a line...
Meet men and women from United States. I like to get away whenever possible whether it is camping and fishing or day trips to hike in Tahoe or Yosemite. I'm looking for that special person to spend it with and expand my interest. There are a lot of things I would love to try with the right person.
My ideal match is fun and flirty. You likes to travel especially quick weekend get aways.

Meet single man from United States. Independent computer consultant (sort of an athletic geek/nerd!) - strong, fit, healthy, intelligent, confident, talented, and humble.
(Are we still talking about me?) Okay - I'm kind, patient, compassionate, communicative, energetic calm, complex simple, and t-shirt casual.
(Not quite enough?) Um, I suppose I have a quick, clever, subtle and sarcastic sense of humor.
(More?) How about my excellent interpersonal and social skills (but I'm not the party type - don't enjoy large groups of mingling and meaningless small talk).
(This is just silly!) I enjoy playing tennis and other sports, intelligent conversation, sharing ideas, and other fun, friendly (and yes - silly!) activities together.
(Oh, alright - but it's your turn next.) I like to work hard, play harder, and relax softly and gently ;-)
(Can we talk about you now?) Please be a genuinely nice, bright, cute, sincere, reasonably fit, monogamous SWF with emotional maturity, silliness, and a good sense of humor - if you think we're a good match, drop me a note - thanks. (Phew!)
