I'm pretty much over the bar scene but still like to go tear it up every now and then. Hangovers sure get worse when you get older so I try to avoid them. I'm perfectly content just stayin in and watchin a movie or going out to a nice dinner followed by a drink or two. I'm pretty handy and can build or fix just about anything. I like to travel. Been to Europe a couple times but there are many other places that I hope to visit eventually. Costa Rica and Australia are at the top of the list. I don't believe that chivalry is dead. If you can appreciate a gentleman that still opens doors or offers his coat when it's cold out I'm your guy. I am very blessed to have two wonderful parents that I feel did a fantastic job raising me. I'm looking for someone who has their priorities in line as I feel that I do. You: Pretty open here. Someone down to earth and realistic. Smart, funny girls have my immediate interest. I see a lot of "I love life and everything is great and YAY!!!" profiles on this site... come on. That's not realistic, and it doesn't really tell us anything. - I actually read profiles. Believe it or not, people do.
- I can carry conversation with even the most boring and obstinate of people. It's a talent I learned as a bartender.

- I play classical guitar. I likely can't play anything you'd recognize, unless you're just THAT amazing.
- I could once speak fluent German, though that was a long time ago. At least I can still read it, for the most part.
- I think sarcasm has its place, but most people use it as a thoughtless substitute masquerading for genuine humor.
- I think a lot of people will misinterpret that last sentence as a personal affront. Let's hope you don't.
- I don't do any kind of social media, and don't even know where my phone IS half the time. This isn't grumpy old man "get off my lawn" syndrome - it's an "I value face to face communication" syndrome. It does drive my friends crazy, to be fair.
- I can usually fix things, and am convinced there is a "handyman gene".
- The only sport I follow is hockey, and the Wings were a disappointment this year.
- As I get older, the more I become my dad; but, as I get older, the more I realize how awesome that is.
- I used to cook with some frequency; circumstances haven't allowed for much of that lately.
- If you're looking for a "partner in crime", I'm calling you out on it. We will go break the law.
- I've had "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire running through my head for the past 5 days. I have no proper explanation for this.

Meet people from United States. Hello, I'm 33 year old young man who loves life...the good and the bad. My relationships with friends and family are very important to me and I feel that I do a great job of contributing to them. I'm on the artistic side, drawing and writing song lyrics/poetry are my strong points. I love to cook and think I'm fairly good at it, but I do live by myself so cooking every night doesn't really happen. Some of my favorite foods are sushi, Italian and Mexican. I think strawberry soda is bomb! I like movies more than TV. I'm more of a board game guy as opposed to video games. I'm born and raised in San Diego so the beach has pretty much been part of my upbringing. I love to travel with Spain, Hawaii, and Mexico being some of my favorite places visited. I would love to add Italy/Sicily to that list. I also walk every year for the Susan G Komen for the cure and MS Walk, I've lost family and friends to both and donating my time, money and emotions to these cures is very important to me. I'm also a member of the Surfrider Foundation and participate in beach clean ups around the county at least a couple times a year...respect the beach!
Life can sometimes be a heavy load, but I love making people laugh and try to remind myself to keep things lite. All in all I consider myself a down to earth, easy going guy. I have been through some hard times in years past that help me recognize how sweet the present can be. I feel that your past helps create who you are today, and I'm pretty content with who I am...but there's always room for improvement:)
