Date single boy from United States. Okay, let me start by saying I'm no marketing major and I'm not a big fan of texting. So trying to advertise myself here in 4000 letters or less isn't exactly my forte, but I'll give it a shot.
Family, friends and experiences. These three things I would say describe myself better then anything else purely because they are the things I value the most in life. Without my family and friends I wouldn't be the person I am today and wouldn't have had the support to accomplish everything I have so far. Everyone who is close to me knows me as a very outgoing, spontaneous, goofy and charismatic person. I love life and live to try new things and go new places, which is one of the biggest reasons I joined the Coast Guard. I've been in for over four years now and couldn't even start to fit all the places I've been with my job in this block. I love what I do and the new challenges it gives me everyday.
I'm definitely not the type of person who wants things just handed to me, working and truly earning something is one of the most satisfying feelings, which is one of the main reasons I love doing what I do.
Anyway, apart from work I love traveling, meeting new people, try new things and do just about anything outdoors, so if your more of the couch potato type I'm definitely not the person for you.
I love music and listen to just about every genre (Screamo excluded), and... am still the raining champ of the Kodiak Island bar Karaoke competition to Garth Brooks "Friends in Low Places" The judge was about 10 shots of Patron into it though...
Anyway when it come's to relationships, it's been a long time since I've given one a shot. I guess the reason for that is because it's not easy finding a person who is okay with me leaving for 30 to 90 days at time for work. A lot of people in the service say "Dating in the Military is like washing your car in the rain, It's pointless" So I guess signing up for this was a step for me to break that stigma and see where it takes me, but if all else fails just meeting new people.

I have an itch for learning new things. I recently got my pilot's license so I've gotten to see lots of Southern California by air. It's a great way to spend the weekend! A few months ago, I also started taking dance lessons (west coast swing). No, I'm still not very good, but I don't look like a complete idiot :) Working out and running are a big part of my life. Meet a boy from United States. Here it is, the dreaded, “About Me” section. Rather than write my life story here, I'll list some random facts about me:
- I'm a nerd. I'm into video games, science, reading, comics (sort of), technology, but I'm like the coolest nerd you will ever meet. Most people think nerdy-ness equals social awkwardness. But I'm awesome, and not awkward at all.
- OK, I'm a little awkward sometimes, but in a cool, charming way.
- I'm a writer. Storytelling is my passion. I'm currently writing for a website some friends recently created.
- I once drove to Georgia with a friend just because I had nothing else to do.
- I'm not really into partying anymore. I think it lost some of it's appeal after I could legally drink. I do have some funny stories though.
- I love the art of conversation and making people laugh. I think inside jokes are the best form of humor, if we start talking, be prepared to have a lot of them.
- I'm a good dancer... in the way that people who do dumb dance moves to be funny are good dancers.
- I played drums in a band when I was in High School... And apparently, I think girls will still be attracted by this.
- My friends and I write down all the funniest quotes/situations we encounter in life and send them to everyone we know on a regular basis. We hope this catches on one day and it becomes something everyone does.
- I don't take life or myself too seriously, It would be boring if I did. I laugh at myself everyday.
- I'm always a hit with a girl's parents/siblings/friends/pets. They'll probably like me more that they like you. ;)
- I don't like telling people where I work because they immediately ask me to help them with some computer problem.
- I hate the word moist. And flap (the noun not the verb, Birds are cool)
I'm a laid back guy with a touch of sarcastic wit and big, stupid dreams that I'll never give up on. And I wouldn't have it any other way really. I'm hoping to find someone I have good chemistry with, and who has a good sense of humor. Also, it's a plus if you're adventurous.
