Meet someone special from Thornton, United States. About me… I love spending time in the mountains camping, riding (atv and dirt bikes), shooting and hunting. I’m not so into fishing but I am going to give fly fishing a shot this summer. I also want to try ice climbing if any of you want to try or have any suggestions of where to go. If I’m not in the mountains then I am usually working on my house, running my kids around to their activities or spending time with family. I have my kids full time except summer and some holidays. They are 15 and 12 and are getting lives of their own. I haven’t traveled much with the exception of Mexico a few times. I still like to play in my own back yard since Colorado has so much to offer. I am a smartass. I am not politically correct. I don’t worry about stuff that doesn’t matter and doesn’t really affect me or the people I care about. I am very dedicated to the things I care about and just go with the flow on the rest. I really just try to keep it simple.
About you… I am looking for a woman who is similar to me as far as just going with the flow and humor. You must enjoy time in the mountains or we wouldn’t see each other. No problem if you are not into everything I do, shooting, hunting, etc. or if you don’t have the gear; I have extra (even dirt bikes). It’s cool if you just want to try any of the things I listed (I actually really enjoy being part of new experiences for people). I like punk rock, I can't get enough of the Beastie Boys (I like other music also). I used to Skateboard. It's a rare occasion you'll ever see me in anything but jeans and a t-shirt. Meet men and women from Thornton, United States. Let myself introduce …... myself. We are all on here for one thing and that is to find someone that they can share experiences with. To go out and have fun together and find new things to enjoy to create new memories. Most of all, to still be there for the slow days and give the time to communicate what is happening in each others lives while being excepting and supportive.
Well, that is what I assume most are looking for as I have been wrong on many occasions. Besides being wrong at times, I do enjoy a strong minded woman with a good sense of herself. Striving to achieve those goals whether it be planning trips or achieving a better career or furthering education etc. Likes to be active outdoors and stays in shape for a healthy body as well as a healthy mind.
For myself, I am furthering my education as well as working hard to further my career. I like to train in martial arts, I do love taking yoga classes and am pretty active in mountain biking, hiking, 14tners. I have not skied much but will plan on it within the coming winters, but I do snowshoe and next winter planning on trying out ice climbing. I tend to keep myself busy but not to sound like I am always on the go, I do enjoy the relaxing time of good conversation with substance and wine.

Great, now throw all those things out and here I am. I am a guy who believes in loyalty, trust and being honest. I am sarcastic with a good sense of humor. My friends would probably describe me as a calm, quiet, gentleman, who has to get to know someone a little bit before I can open up and relax, the word shy may also come up. Physically speaking, I am 6'-0" and I weigh about 200lbs., I got to the gym a few times a week. At work I am a Project Manager/Construction Drafter, I do computer aided drafting, I also referee soccer on the weekends. I am most into either classical music or rock, i.e. Pantera. The two things that I am most proud of are my two kids. Personally, I am proud that I am an Eagle Scout. Finally, I do believe in lust at first sight, because I belive love takes time, and that it is too deep of a emotion to just pop on the first date.

I have a good sense of humor. I'd probably describe it as dry and self-deprecating. Maybe I was British in a former life? I'm no comedian, but I really enjoy sharing a good laugh with someone. When I really get going, I'll often have tears streaming down my face. I'll have something immensely funny to say in my head, but won't be able to get it out because I can't stop laughing.
I enjoy spending time with my awesome 10 year old son. We love going for runs with our dog, Grace, and playing video games. We play a lot of different games, but keep gravitating back to the cooperative campaign of Portal 2. Fantastic game for playing with someone!
I also love eating, just about any kind of food. Generally I'd prefer a giant burger to sushi, but I'll try just about anything. When I lived in San Francisco, one of my favorite places was an Indonesian restaurant. If you haven't had it, Indonesian food is sort of like Thai, only better in my opinion! I also enjoy all kinds of drink, and my tastes vary over time. I love everything from Scotch to beer, wine, and margaritas.
I'm somewhat liberal in my political views, though not active. If you're a die-hard conservative, that may not work out. But hey, I suppose stranger things have happened in the world. I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion (even when said opinion is incorrect).
Some other things I enjoy, in no particular order.
Music: I've never played an instrument seriously, though I sang in a choir in college one semester. I think I can appreciate pretty much any genre, though recently I've been on a bit of a progressive metal kick. If you know something about music, maybe I can learn something new!
Auto racing: I have a Subaru sTI set up for autocross. I haven't participated in a few years, but it's a great experience. Driving fast is thrilling, and doing it where you're not going to kill anyone (including yourself) is awesome!
Poker: I discovered poker about two years ago. I play in a home game every week or two, and sometimes head up to Blackhawk to play in a tournament. I've never won (or lost) much money. It's more about the competition and intellectual challenge for me. Poker is a game dominated by nerds these days.
I'm looking for a woman who is confident in herself and who enjoys life. Someone who can have a great time out on the town, or just sitting around at home, watching a movie or reading a book. She should have an opinion about almost everything, but also be willing to listen to others.

Meet men and women from United States. A long time ago, one of my closest friends and I were having a conversation about where we were headed in life, and what we wanted out of it... Thats when he paused, took a breath, and said "I want what my parents have..." My parents were not a couple that had ever really showed me anything to hang my hat on, so I had to ask him what he meant..... He answered by saying " Ya know to this day, my dad still sends flowers to my mom randomly, still opens doors for her, and she still does similar types of things for him. " That hit me.... Since that moment, I knew what I have wanted.. Its not the material things, its not the amount of kids we have or not have, but its the everlasting relationship, companionship, a deep love and respect for one another...

ABOUT ME: Born in Philly but lived in Colorado since I was 2 and love it here. Went to Creighton University and Colorado State. My friends would describe me as funny, caring, loyal and honest, community service oriented, ambitious, entertaining, and completely dedicated to my kiddos. I have a career that I’ve worked hard for and love my job(s), you have to work hard to play hard. On the weekends I’m happiest at the lake on the boat than almost anywhere else. Love the local teams and sports in general… Eating healthy and taking care of myself is a big priority, but I’m not training for the Ironman. I run 5K’s with my kids, play softball (but I’m not THAT guy), golf, snowboard, wakeboard and surf any chance I get. Love to cook and bake the best chocolate chip cookie you’ll ever have (trust me!)… I’ll take a pub over a club, a game over the ballet, and jeans over slacks any day but don’t mind (and am even required – more on that at a future time) to get dressed up for a night on the town… I play acoustic guitar (mostly around a campfire, but occasionally sit in with the church band).
ABOUT KIDS: I have them! Three of the best I could ever hope for and they are my rock and the reason and motivation behind almost everything I do. They are a huge part of my world and that won’t change, but I have room for more! I’m hoping to meet someone who understands this and accepts it. If you have kids you already know! I’m not looking to have more of my own. If you are looking for someone to “start a family” I’m not your guy.
