It's probably why I chose to be a Paramedic and work in an ER. That's not to say that I'm always on the go or have a need to doing something. My personality is a bit of a contradiction with my work and hobbies, being that I'm pretty relaxed most of the time. I'm fairly flexible when it comes to most things. I like to plan ahead, but I rarely leave things set in stone. I'd rather spend my time enjoying life than stressing over little things. I’m in healthcare, so it’s important to practice what you preach. I don’t smoke and I like to exercise, so it’s important to me that the women I date take care of themselves too. In my down time I’m usually listening to music of some sort. I grew up listening to anything and everything, so almost any style of music is alright with me. I love going to concerts and shows when I can find the time. Trying new foods and places are always something I’m up to doing.
There are a few things I don't take lightly, like major plans for my future and who I choose to date. First the former, then the latter. I'm pretty busy working my way through school. I took two years off from college to get my Paramedic license and I plan on going back to school to get my Bachelors and eventually/hopefully Physicians Assistant school. I don’t plan on staying in Arkansas for the rest of my life. I’d prefer to live somewhere coastal, probably the Gulf area where it’s fairly near family.
Now for the characteristics I look for in a woman. I like strong intelligent women; someone who challenges me to be better. Women who are vapid and shallow don't even register as a match for me. I don't expect Nobel winning Physics conversations, but interesting and intelligent discussion is a plus. I don't have time or the energy to waste playing games with women. I’m not going to play with your emotions or lead you on, so I appreciate similar treatment. A woman who is there for her family and friends is a major characteristic I look for. I want a woman who doesn’t just give up when things get tough. If you don’t fight for what you want then you never really wanted/needed it in the first place. I like women with an adventurous spirit, willing to try something new and possibly out of her comfort zone. It’s especially refreshing to see a woman wanting to try new foods. I’d love it if you turn the tables on me and dare me to try something new.
