I work as the director of marketing and sales for an alternative energy company. We build anaerobic digesters for dairies. Basically we take the biogas off of manure and convert it into electricity that can be used for the house and farm. Luckily I am in marketing so I don't really have to deal with the manure side of things. I do however get to travel around the country and meet farmers. I love that I can say I have been to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Haha! I don't think I would have traveled to half of the places if it weren't for work.

I went to Burning Man 11 years ago and am going back this year. I'm not obsessed with it, but enjoy the amazing creativity that goes on there and the sense of community and helping out thy neighbor. I currently work as an Esthetician/Manicurist/CMT and slowly transitioning away from bartending. I am a firm believer in work hard, play hard so on average I clock in a 60 hour work week. Why so many hours? It sucks trying to build new clientele, so at times I can be fully booked and at other times I can be waxing myself or playing Zelda on my 3DS (it's a guilty pleasure). I am still not complete in my career and will be going back to school for business.
In order to maintain my sanity I try to keep a healthy balance between work and play, yin and yang. You can find me at a local dive bar listening to karaoke, club's/lounges, Uptown Oakland, A's/Raider/Warrior games, flea market, festival, and the list goes on and on I'm pretty open to just about all social events. I can be a bit of a social butterfly but I also know when to throw in the towel and take my ass home. I love being surrounded with family and friends, there's nothing like good company.
