Hmmm, so a little bit about me...
Though the last 6 years have been pretty work-focused, I try to find that elusive "balance" in my life between work, family and friends, and recently online dating! In terms of interests, I am happy doing pretty much anything-- to me it's more important to have good company~ so whether it's trying a new place to eat, wine tasting, going for a hike/exercising (to work off said food and drinks) =), catching up on Netflix, or heading to Tahoe for a weekend of snowboarding or camping, I'm down!
I definitely enjoy traveling when opportunity presents itself or when I can find an excuse to do so =). I've spent a lot of time in India visiting relatives and doing a bit of sightseeing, and have explored around Europe, within the US and parts of Mexico. But my travel bucket list still includes many more places, so maybe we can go on the next trip together!
Though I love to travel, I definitely enjoy my day-to-day life here in the Bay as well. I was born in the East Coast, but other than undergrad in sunny SD and a summer living in Italy, I have pretty much been in the Bay Area for the majority of my life. My parents, brother, and some of my closest friends are here, so I get to enjoy spending my free time with them. I'm a planner by nature, but I also love to make spontaneous plans and sieze the day, so to speak.
Professionally, I deviated from the med school route and decided to pursue a career in the holistic healthcare field instead. I am grateful that my job is so rewarding and that I love what I do. I do try to practice what I preach, so I am a bit of a health nut, but I have a weakness for dark chocolate and I love to bake... go figure =)
I'm not in search of the "perfect" match, as I feel the connection between two people often can't be marked off a checklist. But bonus points for you if you're not "that guy" that waits 3 days to call after a date... if you like someone, why wait? =)
