Meet someone special from United States. I am a 55-year old semi-retired professional writer and journalist. I've lived an incredibly exciting life. I lived hard and fast and enjoyed every minute of it. "Been there, done that..." is my montra. Now, I am preparing for the second half of life's journey.
A couple of years ago, my 99-year-old grammy died. She was an awesome soul who had lived an incredible life. She left behind for my brother and I, the only surviving members of the trust, enough for me to start over. Frankly, a half century of hard partying had taken a toll, both physically and mentally. I was headed toward an early grave, the doc said
So, how many people get a chance to start over? I mean really start over? Only a fool would not try to take advantage of this kind of opportunity.New everything. New house. New TV. New Furniture. New teeth. New attitude. New life. I am looking for a meaningful relationship with a like-minded individual who shares my interests.
One note: A little over a year ago I was hit with a nuerological disorder called transverse myelitis. Took away the nerves in my legs. Went from walking to wheelchair in four months. But am in full recovery mode. Lost the cane last week. Just got back from three-days in Ventura. Walked the boardwalk and pier. The good Lord is looking over me these days. Helping me rebuild and get ready for what lies ahead. So, bring it on. That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
My life's experiences have made me a better person, a caring person, someone who appreciates life so much more. So let's talk.
