Date men and women from Marvell, United States. Hmmm...what's to say? I am intersted in talking to women on here between the ages of 18 and 40. I'm trying to make friendly before we get to know each other better. I know that some information being exchanged would allow for better understanding of our common intersts. I'm open to new experiences and my interests are mostly speculative of the possibilities that 2 like minds are able to enjoy around ideas finding a common ground.
Meet a man from Arkansas, United States. How are you today? My particulars are: I'm single never married (came close a couple of times). I work full time getting paid to keep my mom out of a nursing home. I own my own trailer and live in a small town but I prefer the country. I own my own truck (well the credit company owns it but allows me to use it as long as I make payments). My debts are paid off except for a student loan. I have an associate's in Computer Networking but have never used my degree in a professional situation. I have a couple of business ideas in the planning stage. I can say I own my own business now as I applied for and got my EIN Friday. I have more work than I can do on my own and can help a couple of people make some part time money. I do oil paintings. My most interesting job was being a houseparent for teen for 5 years. I'm not afraid of the idea of fostering or adopting. I own a cat and an inherited Rat Terrior. I like Sci-fi and my fave shows are Star Gate SG1, Voyager, Serenity. I also like Mash, Are You Being Served, Ramseys Kitchen, Dr Who, Whose Line Is It. Some fave movies are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Postman, Fifth Element, Dungeons and Dragons 2, Open Range, An Unfinished Life.
Note the Razorback hat in the photo. My favorite hat in the cold season.
People say that size doesn't matter but in truth it does. I'm judged on how I look. What size I am. I've accepted it cause it doesn't do any good to fight the never ending bias that flows my way because I don't look like a skinny punk.
I'm a fat guy. I have been all my life except for a strange year in 1991. I can eat half of what a skinny active person eats and where they stay skinny I'd gain 10-20 lbs. I suppose it's that I've trained my body to be efficient at being fat. So what to do about it. I won a $2000 visa card from Clorox last Christmas and I used it to buy a shiny new treadmill which I use at least 3 days a week. I've changed my diet. I drink lots of water. I've lost 70 lbs and counting.
However if you can't look past my size and see me. The me who left a job as a Christian house parent to 12 teens to come home to take care of my disabled mom. The me who had 40% of my income taken away last year and still stayed to take care of my disabled mother. The me who is loyal and caring and dutiful to spend 5 years with other parents kids and now another 5 years with a disabled mom how that could translate into a guy that at the very least would love and take care of a good woman.
Hobbies: Pets (indoor dog and outdoor cats), oil painting (I rarely have time anymore to paint), working with and entering sweepstakes/contests/giveaways online, a few computer games (my fave is Civilization 2). I have done the online games like World of Warcraft but again I dont have a lot of time nowadays. I have a sports card collection. I do a lot of virus/malware work.
My goals: I own my own place. I own my own truck. I work two jobs and have a business in the planning stages. I'd like a comfortable life with a partner so we can keep the bills paid, go on vacations, travel a bit, work on our jobs/businesses so our kids will have something later in our lives, make time for our hobbies, and still be able to surf and survive the bad times that roll by.
Things that make me unique are that I'm honest. I can communicate about what I want and need. I am intelligent and can hold a decent conversation. I can be devious at times but usually not to extremes. I can adjust to various situations. I've worked 5 years as a parent for other parents teens that were in trouble so I can be very good with kids. I left this work to work with my mom who is going blind and is now on dialysis and had to take a 40% paycut last year (I was able to adjust but I hate this crappy economy).
What I'm looking for boils down to simply a good country woman to make a life with filled with love and the ups and downs of life. Someone who will love me and be there for me like I will be
