Date men and women from United States / Arkansas / Fair Oaks, 69 year old

Date people from Arkansas, United States. Hi. I am not much different then all those that go to this sight in hopes of reaching someone that may come into their life and fill the voids left by time. I,too, have had times when someone was close and we laughed together. When my family was shared and the love I have for those that are related to me, such as my daughter, sisters and extended family were a part of what I would call us, meaning family shared is family enriched by all. It is not how I picture my life, living a single life at 68 but here I am. I am active, still play softabll and golf. Enjoy activities of all kinds, dancing to a good band, know a little West Cost Swing. I would love to learn more with someone else. The ocean and the sound of the waves breaking, with the sun on my face constantly pull me back, but it is so much richer when it is done hand in hand. I am a romantic by nature. I enjoy a rich conversation with someone and am not afraid to learn. Working with people and families has always been a big part of my life. Sharing passion, joy and the smiles of being alive continues to grow in me and there is always the hopes of travelng with another. B R

Date men and women from Arkansas, United States. I take time out of my day to ask questions as well as take in what is around me.
I grew up with strong moral values, respect for the rights of others and I have a willingness to forgive readily.
I am active within my community, more so with my church. I am involved in single adult ministries. I have been active in singles' and children’s ministries. I love children, teens & adults.
I have two adult children of my own who I care for deeply.
I enjoy putting smiles on everyone’s faces who I meet.
A major accomplishment is publishing my first full-length book-"Parenting Dad (&/or Mom) Creatively Influencing Leadership Values".
The book is about leadership and parenting. I invested countless hours (and dollars) over the recent past 7 years gathering information mostly from my own files. (I had published several stories on the same topic.)
Why write this book?
I became a single (joint-custody) dad with initial physical custody of my daughter at age 3 1/2, and her brother who was nearly age 5. At the time, I was helping build high-tech companies in Silicon Valley.
I condensed my best business and technical leadership values and skills into fun practices. Then the kids and I rotated (on a 3-day basis) which one of us was "parent of the day".
I wanted them to be leaders because leaders have (or will create) choices. Delegating parenting responsibilities to them gave them ample opportunities to exercise their leadership practices.
This practice revealed how their views and values were developing.
We critiqued each other in a peer-to-peer manner similar to that which I used as I led and managed engineers, scientists, and business innovators-my (other) day job.
My goal was to treat the kids as well as I treated my VERY BEST grown-up friends.
We traveled on more than 60 routes between our home and their school in Silicon Valley traffic. It was a blast!
Every other weekend, we also traveled 260 miles round trip for about five years, part of the joint custody agreement.
We designed these daily and every-other weekend trips to be exciting treasure-seeking adventure-safaris to learn fun stuff.
The kids, as preschoolers, selected our produce weekly, which I used to make our lunches.
I delegated to them, not to the teacher, the responsiblity for their own learning-which I presented as an fun adventure.
Practicing their leadership skills earned (jointly) for them "creativity dividends" which they invested in teddy bears, construction toys, and books.
They are adults and have both worked, as leaders of multi-ethnic professionals in several countries on 3 continents outside North America.
I completed the publishing process at the end of 2008. It was like a 7-year pregnancy.
Dads are my primary focus of the book.
I want to continue sharing with dads, in a wider audience, the incredible gift we have to influence and to be influenced by "our" kids.
I really believe that "our" children belong to God and are loaned to us so that we can mutually-influence each other; it is not a 1-way street for us to influence them only.
My ideal match is a strong woman of high moral values. She has a sense of beauty that she reveals as it radiates from within.
She’s an optimist and does not dwell in the past. Her sights tend to be set in the future.
She’s a woman who is educated and has an understanding of the world and who has expanded viewpoints.
She cares about her body and is mindful of what she puts into it as well as keeping it active.
Lastly, she’s a woman of Christ who respects everyone she encounters and who will lend a helping hand at a moment's notice.
Our interests need not be identical-I want to join her expanded world.
I want to cherish her as the rare gift she is as we both realize imperfect people are the only kind God made.
Grace, space, and forgiveness we'll dispense to others and to each other as required.

Meet a soulmate from Arkansas, United States. I like camping, target shooting, going out for coffee or dinner, movies, occasional travel. I'm retired from the Army as a Senior Sgt. Lived in Asia about 10 years and want to go back if I can. My kids are all over 21.

Date someone special from Arkansas, United States. I am looking for a real person, not some who tries to be someone they are not. Integrity is really important just be who you are. I want to share my life with someone who likes and respects themelf for who they are, what they stand for, and has an idea as to what they want to do with the rest of their life. I think the answers to the questions put me in pretty good perspective. I have a good sense of humor which, sometimes could be considered to be dry wit. Not sarcastic.
Someone who likes attention and will give it in return. I am a hugger and a kisser and think that is important. I do things not because I feel as though I have to, they are done because I want to. I like a fire in the fire place, a glass of wine or a cocktail, snuggling with my lady and just enjoying each other's company. She is one of the reasons I come home rather than work late at the office.
Having friends over for a BBQ, to play cards, or just talk is great. I would love to work with you in the kitchen preparing meals, giving you a kiss on the neck and letting you know how I feel.
I do not need to travel all over the world to have an enjoyable life, but whatever I do, it is done with my best friend. I would like to start camping and doing some fishing and hunting.
Having a garden and possibly some animals would be fun, but nothing that would preclude us from saying let's get in the car and go to San Francisco for the weekend or Rudy's Hideaway for dinner on our way to Tahoe.
Let your imagination go wild. What do you want to do? I may have never thought of it, but it could be fun.
By the way, I have never tried or used drugs other than those prescribed.
I do not post my picture here for confidential and privacy reasons. If you would like to see it, let me know and I will send you the link to my web site.
