Date people from Conway, United States. Well, for starters, the most important thing that has made me who I am today is being a mom. I think it is one of my greatest accomplishments. I have two adult children who are college students and live on their own, but they will always be the joys of my life! As for my career, I am proud of that, too, but on a completely different level. I am in the drug and alcohol prevention field, and I absolutely love what I do. Drug & alcohol abuse is rampant now -- it destroys lives daily -- so it is very fulfilling when I get to see prevention put a halt to drug use AND abuse. I am also a freelance writer and a college graduate. I love animals (dogs mostly), being in the outdoors, dancing (I want to learn Salsa!), bicycle riding, boating, picnicing, musicconcerts (classic rock, blues), baseball, star gazing, walking through the park, the beach, movies, reading, writing, exercising...too many other things to name. And, I love trying new things, as long as they are with someone I'm comfortable with and enjoy.
I can't tell you EXACTLY who I am looking for as a mate, because I don't really know yet, but I know he will be the man whose eyes light up when I walk into the room. He will be the one who wants to hold me during a thunderstorm; the person who covers me back up when I have kicked my blankets off in my sleep. Most people think of a "First Date" as going out to a nice restaurant and perhaps a movie; however, I prefer something more adventurous. Yes, conversations are the most important part of a first date, but why not add some excitement to the date? Depending on our interests perhaps bowling would be a great casual vibe. The two of us can have a margarita/beer and/or a slice of pizza while engaging in a friendly competition. This is a good way to communicate, feel relaxed and comfortable. Maybe going to a large indoor "Aquarium" would be nice. We can walk leisurely together and survey all of the sea life since underwater creatures are colorful, slimy, toothy, and weird enough to keep things interesting between us.
