Date someone special from United States. Life is too short to not be enjoying the heck out of it. I work hard but like to have fun when I can so I try making my weekends an adventure of some sort whenever possible (it's definitely not as often as I'd like). We all know that more fun is to be had with a friend than alone.
I've got 3 wonderful kids and 4 adorable and nearly perfect grandchildren. Once I got past the "But I'm too young to be a grandmother" pity party, I realized it was the coolest thing on earth! Family comes first with me...always has and always will.
I'm pretty laid back and easy-going most of the time. I'm loving and giving and I really miss having someone to spoil. I'm creative and always wanting to learn more. I try to find the good in everyone but I do not have any patience for someone that thinks it's OK to lie or be rude, controlling or judgemental. I truly believe that you can't have an open heart without an open mind. I'm definitely not perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be either. Above all, I think that the ability to communicate is a priority..... if you can't communicate then you aren't left with much once the 'spark' of a new relationship has worn off. If you are still married - whether in the process of divorce or just separated - please, PLEASE keep looking. I am not your girl.
The perfect date for me? Taking a short roadtrip to somewhere new or 'traveling' to a new culture by way of a culinary adventure in the kitchen both sound incredible to me. So does something as simple as sharing a funny movie or a beautiful sunset. Gosh - that sounds really corny, doesn't it?! What sounds good to you???
I've always loved to camp, hike and explore. I have my own kayak so having someone to paddle around with would be fun. Same goes for scuba diving or just about anything else in the water. I love to ride on the back of a motorcycle.... nothing quite like it. I have a nice, long list of stuff I want to see and do but I know it would be a lot more fun with someone special than alone. I want to help someone get through their list, too! I may act like a tomboy fairly often but I'm all girl and I'm still a romantic at heart.
Like Kermit the Frog, I love being green. Yes - I'm one of those annoying people that wants to make a difference and save the planet so I recycle and compost what I can. I like to volunteer and help out when needed, too. I don't get a big thrill out of shopping unless it's a farmers market or something like that. I do, however, enjoy going to auctions.
I'd like to find a guy with a good heart and similar interests that likes to have fun when he can. Someone that I can learn to trust. Someone I can believe in that will believe in me, too. I'm pretty self-sufficient so I'm not one of those girls in desperate need of a knight on his trusted steed to come rescue me from the world....I'd just like to find a guy that would like to get on his horse and ride the trail next to me and see where we end up....
(OK - don't take that literally......you don't need to have your own horse.... I sure don't have one!)

I am getting certified in scuba diving and would like to take a scuba diving trip to the Caribbean. I like to travel and spend time with my family and friends. If I won the Lottery I would payoff all of my bills including my house, give to charity, take care of my family, build my dream home and travel.
