I have the travel bug (not the VW) and hope that traveling is enjoyable for you too. I've not visited all our great states. However, you'd be surprised by some of the things I've done on my bucket list. I've ushered at the Daytona 500 bike week.) I emptied my wallet to go to Peru and climb Macchu Picchu and even ate guinea pig there. I'm not a nomad since love of family always brings me home. I am a huge football fanatic and have a creative side (arts and crafts). Some of my other loves include walking, reading, beaches, dogs, horses, cooking, reading, games (card or board). I eat healthy and my daughter will say that one of these days I’m going to turn into bottles of vitamins, herbs, and minerals. I walk regularly.. Well, I could go on and on. I wouldn't mind learning tennis, bridge, and/or golf, and of course you! But now its your turn….

I am very young for my age, sometimes I can't believe that I am not still 28 years old!! (Really) [Except for a few aches and pains!! :)] My hair is my natural color with some silver sprinkled in. I drive a mean golf cart. I am kind to people. Rudeness is intolerable. I believe people should be positive, kind and believe in and practice the Golden Rule. I am sometimes chatty and can be pretty funny/witty and usually have a smile on my face & it would be nice to be with someone that is like that too. I am a very good listener and very compassionate. I am humble and have great faith in God. My friends would tell you that I am attractive and fun to be around, but I don't like to blow my own horn! I would like someone who can enjoy a quiet evening at home or enjoy family and friends coming over and hanging out. I enjoy a movie and dinner out, but prefer a movie and dinner at home. I am very old-fashioned and enjoy being treated like a lady. I enjoy taking care of the man in my life, but I want it to be a two-way street, 100% participation on both parts. I believe that a committed man and woman should treat each other as best friends and lovers. Fidelity is ultra important to me. Honesty is always necessary if a relationship is going to succeed. I want to be treated like a Queen by a man that deserves and wants to be treated like a King!! If a man is only on this site for a bed buddy, then he needs to keep looking elsewhere! This is not a buffet line and I deserve to be treated better than that!! If you want someone to just go to the movies with or to go out to eat with then just say so. If you want more, then it needs to be mutual and you need to take it slow and not push. I've been burned and I don't like that fire and if it has ever happened to you, then you understand where I come from. I am a Southern Lady, born and raised. I am very comfortable in jeans, shorts or dressed up. I can fit in with any type of gathering, but I am not that fond of crowds anymore. I really like quiet time, I was on the go as a single mom with three sons and now with six grandchildren, I have cut my pace back so I can live to the riotous age of at least 113. That's my plan anyway. :) I really like the country, I used to have horses, a jersey heifer, chickens, guineas, mallards, cats, a dog and other critters while I was still living on my small farm in TX. I spend quite a bit of time in my pool during the summer and my grandchildren enjoy it when they get to visit. I love to cook, but I am happy to clean up if someone else wants to do the cooking. When I'm by myself, I usually just eat a salad, sandwich, cereal or frozen entree. No inside pets, please! I am a free spirit who is sensitive, but strong. I have been on my own for quite awhile but enjoy the company of a polite/kind man that is educated, communicative, sharing, funny, happy with himself and not afraid to be loved and cared for and would reciprocate in kind. I have been accused of being too nice and I have been trying for years to change that, but to no avail. :) I am honest to a fault and a friend for life. Anyway, I would really like to find a fella that would like to be kind and generous to a gal like me.
